I agree and I would much rather go to your house and have a cup of coffee with you than starbucks any day. But thats not the point the point is each time one of these bushiness lump us in with smokers the we lose ground and the public opinion of vaping gets affected.
Permit me to express my opinion...

I applaud your pro-vaping activism, but going after a company for setting a policy that (currently) has a practically non-existent effect on their bottom line... I think you're wasting your time. As alluded to by Baditude, they currently associate the act of vaping with the act of smoking. For a non-smoking/vaping customer, which is the majority of Starbucks patrons, one is the same as the other. It's not Starbucks job to educate those customers to see vaping in a positive light... it's ours.

I can see why Howard and the Starbucks board of directors would not want to permit vaping on Starbucks premises. Flip side of the coin... I can also see how Howard, not being anyone's fool, might, at some point, consider the facts and, bowing to local or state regulation and/or positive local gov't influences or a city/state wide vaping education programe... might allow vaping on selected Starbucks premises, at some future time.

In other words, I'd be more inclined to focus my efforts on the education of those that have the ability to affect local, state and federal laws so that they might benefit vapers... not bash away at a company policy intended to provide comfort to the majority of their customers.

Bla bla bla... why do I even do this stuff. :?:

I responded, for what good it will do. Personally, businesses have the right to choose what policies to make and enforce. I would obviously prefer to be able to vape while on Starbuck's property (when I can afford it), but at the same time I can understand how allowing vaping would upset smokers not being allowed to smoke if they see vapors vaping. It's just easier for a business to say neither are allowed.

While I can certainly understand the theory regarding smokers and it being easier, I really don't give a crap about smokers rights. Also, as a former business owner/operator I don't subscribe to the easiest way to run a business necessarily being the best way. I voiced my opinion on Starbucks feedback page and let the chips fall where they may. Not going to get militant on them, just vote with my wallet. It's the American way :)

I think anyone who wants to purchase a firearm should go through a mandatory psych eval.
I think anyone that expects someone else to accept the responsibility of protecting them from the evils of this world should too

or anyone that uses butters as an avatar should be locked in the nuthatch

Ain't opinions grand....they are like hiney holes...everyone has one and they smell the same

Thank goodness I don't handle caffeine very well (or like Starbucks). I can vape 2.4 mg nicotine all day long and feel fine, but one cup of coffee messes me all kinds of up. Rapid, irregular heartbeat, flushing of the face, shaky hands, and general confusion. I've been that way for about four or five years now. Cut soda out of my diet almost completely, too.

My point being if we sit back and allow vaping to be demonized in the same category as smoking it just helps the nannys and FDA ect..... with their own silly bans.

It can go Starbucks the company that cares we dont allow smoking or vaping on our property

Or Starbucks the company that cares we dont allow smoking on our property but we encourage Vapers to visit our outside tables thank you for choosing a heather alternative to smoking.

Its never to late

I couldn't agree more......!!

love this!!!!!! Just LOVE it!!!

Hey now.. The Declaration Worked for a Little while before Modern day Government Decided to Step all over it and Turn this country into a Dictatorship & Start Trying to Take Away Our Given rights....

That Declaration is now just a piece of paper that isn't used anymore....

Pitty

I sleep better at night knowing they are doing it for my own good:blink:
