I responded, for what good it will do. Personally, businesses have the right to choose what policies to make and enforce. I would obviously prefer to be able to vape while on Starbuck's property (when I can afford it), but at the same time I can understand how allowing vaping would upset smokers not being allowed to smoke if they see vapors vaping. It's just easier for a business to say neither are allowed.

I understand what you are saying but I think that grouping them together is wrong. If businesses continue to ban e cigs isn't this just tarnishing them with the same brush as regular cigarettes? Ok so I get maybe some places not wanting people to use electronic cigarettes in-doors but banning them outside in my opinion is the wrong way to go.

I am overall NOT a coffee drinker. I did however find ONE (EXACTLY ONE) coffee I could drink and semi like. It was a preground Starbucks bought from a local grocery called "Breakfast Blend." Not long after discovering the stuff I had to present a paper at a conference after a disastrous 12 hour ordeal flying TO the conference. I arrived dead tired and had to present 2 hours after getting to the hotel. I noticed a Starbucks downstairs and headed there hoping to find a cup of the ONE coffee I could drink. They had never heard of it. :p

Haven't set foot in a Starbucks since.

Pretty sure the DEA is coming to your house now. :p

Hey No prob. I will make each of them a cup of StarBucks while they sit outside and we share a vape as I go over the warrant with them and my attorney. My wife used to drink StarBucks until she found out we are having a little one and no more so I have a 7 month old bag of stale coffee I would love to share with someone lol....

That's strange as Breakfast Blend is a very common product. I drink it pretty much every day as they have it at my job.

Although I have quit smoking and now vape only, I do understand Starbuck's decision. One, I don't think they want to monitor who is vaping and who is smoking. Second, what family oriented business would want customers sitting around vaping on pipes that look like drug paraphernalia (and i grew up in the 60s)? Mini, cig alikes maybe, but how could you decide what was allowed. I would not want my kid exposed to that scene.
