Dale you moved on me. LOL I saw alot of you won some juice in the Halo contest. I'm sorry I missed it. Congratulations Dale, Welsh and Shadav on your wins over there. Y'all have the fastest moving thread, I can never catch up.
    Hello all lurkers. :)
I'm on vacation for 2 weeks and I'm eliminating more stress and resting alot hoping to let my body heal. So far I haven't managed to go 2 weeks without another attack so I'm hoping I can do it this time with plenty of rest. I'm really tired of this pericarditis, it leaves me feeling so weak and useless. I'm going to limit my time on ECF try to get a good balance between here and home. Even good things once it becomes an addiction isn't good I guess. :) Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
Aw Evie! It's great to see you hon :)
Thank you for the congrat's ... unfortunately for Halo it was a bit easy to do this time around

Moderation in life is important, hopefully you can avoid any unneccessary stress ... we do think about & pray for you !
Come back anytime you feel up to it :)

Well ladies & gents I'm sorry to run but I think nap time has arrived.
See you guys a lil later:wub:'s
Have a good one sweetie :)

Well thank you, though I suspect it just comes with age. If I were so darn smart wouldn't I have quit smoking years earlier and not be struggling with COPD...:(

Dale if you wouldn't mind would you share the website for that case if you still have it?

Also I just found a website with empty tea bags...think I may try some of them. Yikes, just what I need to be doing right now, shopping.

Aw Bobbi, a lot of us have smoked ourselve's into bad health :(

    Here's the link, it's just Amazon Amazon.com : Vaultz Medicine Case with Combination Lock, 8.25 x 5 x 2.5 Inches, Black (VZ00361) : Storage File Boxes : Office Products

And I have a bunch of those tea bags you're talking about that I'll never use if you want them :)

I may have to look into getting one of those. It would be nice to be able to have it all and not worry when I need to leave it in the car, easy to toss into the storage drawer in the van or the trunk in the car.

I am not sure if I would really like them or not. They have a drawstring and do a single cup. With traveling to check jobs and such it would be nice to be able to take a loose tea and not be stuck with ziplocks and a tea ball and having too much with me at a time.

They also had the cute little tea man that is an infuser but they come in sets of 5. He is a little cutie though. Maybe I will pick them up for Christmas gifts for others and 1 for me!

I got on the site to see if my purchases were all complete and saw some tea things. Resistance is futile!

Evie I will add you to my prayers! Rest well.:)

Oh! I apologize then, what I have are the little bag's that fold over like a sandwich bag does

No need to apologize! How do they seal? I don't know anything really on the ones I saw except what I see from the pic and that it says they are paper. I'm mostly just looking and thinking that it could be convenient. It was 100 for like 6 something... I would have to look again.

Maybe I should order my little tea man! When I looked at him on amazon 1+ shipping is almost the same price as 5 of them that ship free from the other site... Anyone want a mr tea infuser??? LOL! I don't think my girls are quite ready for him and I don't know anyone else who drinks enough tea to want him.:(

I didn't mean your's weren't as good, I just don't know anything about them. I have never used them before so was trying to describe what I had found in hope you would have an opinion on them. I am thinking the drawstring might allow for a lot of leakage of the tea...I don't like floaties!!! Do you just fold yours and they stay or do you put a staple in them? That might be better since it wouldn't leak tea leaf pieces.

    Ugh! Hey all.

So the shop's closed again tomorrow and I have to carry out a warning or disciplinary action on Friday. CCTV showed one of my little elves hitting over a bottle of opened water or something over some electrical components that really should have cost the company it's shop. Luckily it just blew out the electrics.

Eeek! It would have been nice if they had admitted to it so you could have been watching for problems! Are you sure it was an elf and not a gremlin in disguise as an elf! So you will be off tomorrow, unplanned break for the whole staff.

I called him about it and he's apologetic, had no idea he knocked it over apparently & I believe him. He's far from stupidly dangerous but the powers that be need an example made now before health and safety come down on us. Bummed that it has to be me that does it. They'll decide whether it's a warning or he gets fired and I deliver the news.

That's one of the things I least like about a management position when I've had one! They give out the accolades and you give out the pink slips! Sorry for you being stuck with the dirty part of the job!

They don't seal, they just fold over and tuck. I've used them in the past with Rooibos and had no problems :?:

I suspect that would be a better choice. The only thing I have ever done with drawstring was herbal for baths with either rose or lavender and they tend to leak the "dust". Mostly I suspect there will be a bit of travel in our future and I would like to be able to take loose favorites more easily...I'm spoiled and like my tea. A night away requires a tea for one, a kettle to heat my water and a small selection of teas.

Once when we went on a family vacation Bella was determined to sleep in our room. When I got out my kettle and a selection of tea she was so happy! She did however ask me, "where is my cup grandma?" Like I magically knew she would be in my room at bed time and thus bring her a cup. The next day she made sure Grace knew she had tea and biscuits before bed...

I doubt I get the little man. It would be cute and the girls would love to see it but I doubt I will do it anytime soon (there is also a manatee one they would probably like better yet) as it is a bit of a silly splurge and this is perhaps not the best time to splurge on anything tea related. Looking at him he would likely be a bit "dusty" as well...

I showed DH your case and he really likes it. He got out a tape and figured how much he thought would fit in one. I suspect we will be ordering 2 one of these days.

Are the bags you have made of a paper or a fabric? Now that I am looking them up, seems there are all sorts of the darn things.
