I showed DH your case and he really likes it. He got out a tape and figured how much he thought would fit in one. I suspect we will be ordering 2 one of these days.

Are the bags you have made of a paper or a fabric? Now that I am looking them up, seems there are all sorts of the darn things.
Cool  I think you'll like them :)

They are paper "like" but not something you could tear easily. It's written in Chinese and I don't read Chinese

    Japanese, Japanese

It's my best friends fault I even said that,
she used to get upset with me and correct me if I mistook something Japanese for Chinese

I'll get those out as soon as possible :)

Does it come from England though? That's a lot of trouble for some tea Aunt GG ;)

LOL, no they are in Pennsylvania here in the US. They carry some English style tea items though and I do like them. They have my next tea set... one of these days I will send for it! They also carry some of the English brands and some of the biscuits and candy.

The only british candy worth carrying is made by Cadbury, if they carry that brand you're good to go

Aye, they have Cadbury and they have Lindt chocolate, they have haribo gummi bears. They are becoming quite the international place.

Well heck. Must be the buy out ASDA, they've realised we're not just good for tea

I love that you use aye, can only imagine how that sounds

    Hey guys & gals! I'm back:wub:
I took a nice nap, read a couple chapters in my book & took a nice hot bubble bath for my back.

Bobbi I think you'll like the tea filters Dale is talking about. I use them myself when I make tea at work. I've never had any tea leafs come through them either. That would drive me nuts! Probably time to order more now that I think about it:unsure: I need to check my snack bag for work to see how many I have left. Thanks to MD I'm a tea addict:)

LOL! Well I do get a bit of the "look" when I slip and do it state side!:p

They sell Walker crisps at the English Tea Store and a few other such things.

Here is my next tea set... I've put it off for a year so I guess I'll not be buying it tomorrow but that is the link I have saved so I'm sure you can get a chuckle out of the food "choices" if you've a mind to! ;)
Lucinda Porcelain Tea Set hmm, I hope the link works anyway...

Dale's going to send me some to try. I'm afraid I was addicted long before I met everyone here. I do get less and less odd looks when people realize I have an electric kettle and a few favored tea pots. My nieces no longer stare at me like I am from a different planet when they realize I have 2 fairly large tea chests both full. Now they ask to browse through it and try them. I think the US must finally be going back to our roots...

Normally I would just use an infuser but I suspect that we will end up traveling a bit in our job search and though I take my kettle and a tea for one several of my favorites are loose and it is easier in a hotel room to have it bagged up.

Sounds like a nap and a bit of relaxation helped a bit then?

Thanks! I do hope they know it's mine and don't sell them all off and discontinue... of course the fact that I already have a set for 8 with a gold fleur de luis, a set for 6 with blue roses and a set for 4 that is glass... not including my 4 tea for ones (nice in the evening when we can't agree on a tea) and all my odd assorted pieces... but someday my resistance will be down and then it will be mine. The good news is all 3 grandkids want to inherit a tea set so it will give them one more to choose from!:)

There used to be the best German bakery in Colorado Springs when we were there in the service! Every Sunday morning we would take the kids there for cakes and tea (DH had to learn to like tea, he always had coffee back then). When we came back to Colorado we went to Colorado Springs and searched for them but they are gone now.:( I would love to find a really great bakery again! Who knows maybe when we find out where we will be there will be one...:p

Hehehe! I have an aunt that collects tea sets as well. She loves to go to estate sales & she's found a lot of really nice ones there. She has a ton of them too.

I started drinking tea to cut back on the coca cola & thankfully Dale helped me figure out what I needed to buy. Otherwise I would've been totally lost.

Yes. I think it helped a bit:)
It's not 100% better but between the bath & the meds it's certainly a noticeable improvement.

I bet your other sets are just as pretty. I remember the gold set you posted a pic of a while back. I really like that one too!
