Hmm it's 37 outside in the sun. About 42 inside next to the space heater.

My FIL was kind enough to remove our carpet then flake on replacing it. I have painted subflooring. And it's just 1/2 inch plywood.

Wow! Nope your braver then me then. I'll stop crying now carry on haha

I'm not sure about why the notification for the likes, we use them on this thread to acknowledge that we read your post...doesn't always mean we genuinely "like" the content of the post, for instance your back issues, or Chim's dead car battery. I use likes to bookmark my spot on the thread.
I go to my profile page, and then likes given, and I'm right back where I left off on the thread.

I won't speak for others, but I'm sure that none of us mind questions. We all help each other here on the Lurker thread. I guess my concern is when someone needs the most very basic info regarding the different types of e-cig top devices and bottom devices. I don't want someone solely relying on my answers, because I'll surely forget something, and there can be safety issues involved. The upstairs threads are more closely moderated for correct answers, and esp. for safety related issues, not so much downstairs in the lounge area. Hope that all makes sense. :) Just my :2c:

Thanks!! I am sooo new here... other than lurking..lol so I didn't know if when you "liked" something it was like a point system.. or what. I realize what you said, and that is a great thing to know!!

Nah complain about the cold all you want :) I do :)
It's cold outside!! It's cold inside !!
But we have a house :) it's not well built but we been here 16 years.
We rented it out for a year and went to Mississippi Our choice of renter cost us over $5000.
Our bad and we are paying for it.. No carpet no TV no Internet except my phone. It's all good :)
We have a place
To put our heads at night. And lots of blankets. DS is going to his school of choice. But when he goes off to college I want to move down with my family and friends. We moved up here to be close to the nieces and nephews and other grandparents. Bad choice!!

You should have heard the conversation I had with my daughter last night. It was so true :)
Oh well at least DH has mostly turned out good:) very sweet man too sweet to his family...

It's cold here too. And going to be for at least another week. 49 sounds balmy to me. I'm waiting for the predicted snow today...

70 is too cold for me!!

And spurs can also give you fits!! About 4 years ago now the ortho surgeon wanted to put a rod and screws in my lumbar. HUH.. DH had that surgery done and then a few years later he had to have another surgery to remove all that!! Since I have lived through all of his surgeries with him, I know what the side effects of the surgeries can be, so it's kinda like you're doomed if you do and doomed if you don't! Sooo... I have been wearing a cheap Walmart back brace for 3 years now, per the Dr's recommendation.. the one that wanted to do the rod surgery and I told him NO WAY!! It helps a lot!! But as I am sure you know well.. the pain is still there.. bad.. some days more than others. You just kinda try to live with it, cause you know it won't go away

I'm lucky I have a very high pain threshold :) what is bothersome to me would put most people in the bed. The tech was amazed when he did the ?tenz? Test.

Anyone here interested in a paleodiet?
They are doing an online seminar next week. Paleocon.net I think that's right...

I've looked into it. I'm not sure I have the ability to do any diet!

Beck "liking" and Notification's ... What I use it for
I use the "like" notification kind of like a "doorbell" ... it let's me know when someone is around or want's to talk ;)
Also you should check your notification's for Friend requests and PM's so you can accept or reject them :)

CB, have you tried starting a thread there for your questions? Someone would surely reply :?:

Oh my, you've been busy then, still working on that nasty insurance thing?

I slept too, took a loooong nap to make up for the sleep I didn't get last night ... and yes thank you, the visual migraine is gone :)

Ah the insurance, it is sorted but not the outcome I was hoping for. The car's technically totalled. How that happens from behind I don't know. So I need a new car, however as a write off confirmed by the garage I pay nothing. So that's something at least, just waiting for the pay out.

Glad ya got a nap and that's gone. I'm gonna hang out here now for a while.

Well hey! That happened to my daughter a while back, she took the money and fixed her car (side-swipe) and kept on running ;)
Don't know why they called it "totaled" unless it was because it was such an old car? It was the one we had bought her when she was able to drive ... just a cheap junker to run around in.
LOL's, she still has that thing!

Golly ... I guess that was almost 4 years ago, she had just gotten pregnant and didn't even know it at the time

I suppose it's down to size and build quality. I keep thinking, i'll get a few thousand from insurance and that Mazda MX5 is still very cheap. Old, maybe but a car I must own at some point, why not now!.

What happened to her car? Was she in there when it happened? While she was pregnant?!? Scary!
