Been informed that the Chalice is already in production, they're starting with the bases (which is interchangeable with all three designs). The first batch is expected to be ready by the end of June if all goes well.

They may release and distribute the Chalice themselves on an english version of their website by that time. No word on what the price is, but my guess is that it will be close to what the Mark T Infinity sells for, 150 USD.

I'm also guessing the self release will keep the price as low as possible, so the product won't be taxed twice (first by the manufacturer's country, and then by the distributor's).

And I'm thinking that I'll put some other mods up for sale so I can grab another one of these as a backup...keep an eye on the classifieds.

Great news, and thanks again for the updates! I thought these style attys were generally using a silica wick but I'm pretty sure you've mentioned using an SS wick in yours recently. Think you could post a photo or two of your current wick setup?

Well, it's had a fair amount of juice through it, so I don't know how effective a picture will be (and OKC is going through non-stop thunder and hail storms, so the light won't be good). I'll recoil it in a couple of days and take a picture while it's fresh.

And you can use SS mesh in this, you just have to make sure it's oxidized well since it's sitting on the metal floor of the mod. Main advantages are that the juice tastes cleaner and the wick lasts longer.

Let's just say that my VV Grand and my BFF drew an awful lot of attention at the Vape Meet at Tulsa last Saturday. A LOT of attention.

With a week old ss mesh wick and coil and some Havana Gold blend, it was quite a hit. Thank God Vapor Kings had a lot of drip tip condoms available!

But...HERE'S the interesting part.... the fact that it was rebuildable drew a lot of attention, BUT it was the draw, easy juicing action and taste of the juice that really impressed people about it, without exception.

The curious would take a long slow draw, blow out of cloud of vapor, roll their eyes, take a long hard look at the mod and ask: "WHERE can I get one of these?!?"* It seemed the fact that it was rebuildable took secondary importance to the general characteristics of the atty itself once they vaped it; a fact that I would have to agree with. HH 357 owners compared it favorably to their attys.

Unless the BFF completely breaks, explodes or kills me in the next couple of weeks, I'm starting to become convinced that it-along with the VV Reo-is the freakin' future of vaping.

One other observation is that the combo does quite well with a full bottle....I don't want to say it autofeeds with thick VG juice, but it doesn't seem that I have to squonk it very much, even with how heavily I've been hitting it. It's a little bit more effort once the bottle starts becoming less than half full, but that's a characteristic I can live with.

BTW, thanks to Rob and Michelle for really treating us right at the Vape Meet at Vapor Kings. Excellent hospitality, and killer door prizes! Sterno and I both won Ego C kits...the missus got mine** and he's kind of excited of having his first non-Reo ("Cool! Now I can take this out with me and keep my Reos safe at home!!!") mod.

A quick little production note for those of you who bothered reading all of this: They're still on track to be released by the end of the month, and the price will AT WORST CASE SCENARIO be no more than their existing Mark T Infinity attys....150 USD.

*With a few folks saying, "Jesus, who do I have to blow to get one of these?!?" Too bad most of them were dudes...

Oh, one other thing....

Really impressed by the battery life on the VV Grand. Put batteries in at 8am, and didn't have to switch them out til 3pm on Saturday. At a vape meet. With dozens of people trying it, IN ADDITION to my vaping it like a research monkey.

Okay, two things: the button on the VV Grand was a crowd pleaser as well.

I'm tempted to make this into a "Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition" parody, but I'll quit here.

No kidding, I am truly blessed and defecating in tall cotton, my friend! I was going to give the ego-c I won at the vape meet away before she who must be obeyed* called dibs. BUT...with the VV Grand and this becoming available, everyone should get a piece of this action. I dreamed about this combo for months before the components became available...and my dreams came true!

No, all 3 designs are in polished SS. Thanks for the compliment! Sometimes, I go to meetings with a bunch of twentysomethings who blanch and shrug at some of my word choices. It reminds me of a scene from the HBO series "Dead Like Me":

Rube: "Better be careful with your drinking, Mason. After all, 'Bacchus has drowned more men than Poseidon'.
Mason: "Bacchus? Who is that?"
Rube: "Oh, he's the Greek god of 'Why don't you read a :censored: book?!?'".
