Ok I just made a sweet wick coil assy. I rolled the coils on a pin. Then I stuck the pin in the feed tube and threaded the wire ends. So the wick and coils stand on end. It's amazing. Still a little too hot . Coming in at 1.2 ohms. Looking for 1.5 at 3.7 v that's my sweet spot. One or two more wraps of the coil and I'd guess I will have it bang on

Are you saying you did a vertical coil and wick, with something other than SS?

Ya I did it with cotton gauze. I heard about people using cheese cloth and was in my first aid kit for other stuff and found some gauze

Sounds awesome... Does the wick stay wet longer? The only way I have managed to keep the wick wet longer than 2 pulls is with a vertical SS Mesh wick thats like 1/8" down in the hole.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, my vertical SS wick kicks more ... than Chuck Norris, but I'm forever curious...

Feeling much love for this, Using my VVG and a 2.7 ohm set up.

It's a vaping monster on the VVG. I will be picking up a few more down the road but at $150.00 it is worth it but needs to be put in to the budget.

Fantastic Clyde. Thanks for doing the leg work for us, though I doubt it was much of a burden for you! I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. That being said, I don't think I could justify buying another. As much as I would love one for each of my bottom feeders, the price is prohibitive, especially in light of other products that are considerably cheaper. Had I the cash, I would buy at least two more. Unfortunately for me thats not the case, but I'm sure glad I was able to get this one.

Still rocking the vertical SS Mesh wick in mine, and vaping like a beast... I need to practice more DIY... Whereas I have the thing getting an appropriate number of draws per squonk, I vape ALOT more with this thing.

Not doing very well.....can't seem to get the hang of it. Wish more people would post pics. It might help out. Which direction are people putting the wire through on each post? I can't figure out a way to put the wire in so that it isn't touching any of the other wire/coils.
