I've watched dozens of vaping videos and I always see these huge clouds of vapor. I never get anywhere near that. I watched a pbusardo video where he sorta ranted on massive clouds, and even in that one, compared to my experience, he seemed to be fogging up the room.

I am beginning to feel, ummmm.... inadequate....

I have a couple of Vamos, one with a Protank, the other with a Vivi Nova knockoff, both filled with different JC flavors. Since JC is 100% VG, I'd expect vapor to be on the high side, but nope. Also a Twist in the rotation with 70/30 SomethingOrOther. Adjusting volts or watts has no real effect as far as vapor goes. All the clearos are maybe a week out of the box.

I'm not really into enormous clouds for their own sake, but this just feels odd enough that I fear I'm missing something or doing something wrong. I'm relatively new at all this.

Advice? Please? I don't want to have to see a psychologist to discuss my feelings of inadequacy...

What voltage/wattage are you running your stuff at? You have to remember that some of the guys with "massive" vapor are running sub-ohm coils in the 20 - 30 or even higher wattage range. Do you need it? No..

Some folks like it..but it's not for everyone, I can tell you that much.

Couldnt read your post threw my giant clouds :D I use LR set ups and I take large hits so it produces a lot of vapor but dont worry about it .You could try some LR heads in your Protank and taking larger hits but dont do anything that doesnt feel comfortable for your vaping style. As long as your not smoking real cigs thats all that matters :)

Vivi Nova unmodified isnt going to give you massive clouds running 100 percent vg since it has known wicking issues with thicker liquids.

Kanger Protank is great. It eliminates many of the wicking issues the Nova suffers from but the airy draw might be affecting the vapor production.

Try a carto tank. You might be pleasantly surprised.

And I said clearomizer to avoid using the word tip because it sounded bad if taken out of context, but tank, etc, works too.

Not really.

People call Vivi Novas tanks but they should be called clearomizers or clearo tanks becauses thats refers to how they work and eliminates a lot of confusion.

When you say tank, I instantly think carto tank because its been around longer.

It is almost certainly the Johnson Creek juice. I used to vape Johnson Creek and it produces substantially less vapor than some other brands of juice. Their VG juice (Red Oak) for some reason does not produce any more vapor than their original line of juices. I am not a huge cloud junky, so it doesn't bother me and some of their flavors are decent (Summer Peach is excellent but not vapor heavy), but if you want the amounts of vapor you see on youtube you are not going to get them from JC.
