Yeah 75 95 watts seems to prefer where I like to vape

I might just set the rabbit aside for a regulated squonk later In the year or sell it on eBay

Might aim for a wasp and csmnt and just 24g 26g ni80 Friday not sure I don't like cold vapes never get flavor from them just read huge post on Reddit about a dude with 2.5id 5 wrap 24g kanthal and he's .....ing about ramp up

I don't want that I don't purge so yeah starting to get annoyed

45$ for a rabbit 35$ for hugo squeezer 25$ for 2 ijoy20700s n got no coils i think will work because of ramp up i know what used Claptons i got are about .2 .3 .4 in dual mod as I went on a huge try every premade I can find fix

I know what type of vape i want and what everyone suggesting I have heard it's on colder side with ramp up so yeah my heads a mess I'm tired of experimenting

From everything I gathered lower ohms going to mean faster ramp up but incoild be wrong

Home boys 20 gauge ni80 in his pulse22 ramped up fast but wouldn't say it was my type of vape
Give up on the claptons and other complex coils, build single wire coils of reasonable resistance, learn about Heat flux and learn to build according to it by using steam-engine. A lot of your confusion seems to stem from you having settled for coil builds and wire types that will not give you a good vape.

I'm not punking anyone I never messed with steam engine but curious question does by pass mode on my voopoo act like a mech probably not I won't post any more til I got some wire and went back and read through everything here

It should, yes, bypass mode usually means that whatever Voltage is left on the battery goes right to the atomizer. It should still have all of the built in protections and I would imagine that you'd get more of a Voltage drop than from an actual mech. But you can play around with different builds and see how they might feel on an unregulated device.

Got some 24 gauge kanthal going to try 6 wraps should be around .3

Maybe, maybe not, depends on single or dual coil, ID of coil, leg lenghth & overall length of wire.

Single, 6 wraps of 24ga Ka, 3mm ID, 3mm leg length, using about 77.5mm of wire should be closer to .55Ω.
.3Ω using 24ga Ka single coil will be closer to, 4 wraps, 2.5mm ID, 2mm leg length using about 42.5 mm of wire.
.3Ω 24ga single 3mm ID would be closer to 3 wraps... and likely not be an enjoyable vape due to the lack of coil to wicking material surface area.

No matter how you model it, it won't be accurate until it is measured, pulsed adjusted then remeasured.

It is important to know single vs dual, what ID you want, helpful to know the actual leg length you'll use in any particular deck and all become frustratingly complex if you don't understand the basics of using it all with a limited power source.

You are making this far harder on yourself than it actually is.
Basics, start with them.

Yeah going to be using my dead rabbit so it will be dual builds

I don't ever know what to put for lead lengths in vape tool always just keep it at 13

So how many wraps should I do then? I don't have a mm ruler or those fancy tools like djlsb has just ohm meter and coil master v2 kit and maybe 5 feet of k1 I got for free

I was just going to cut like 6 inches of wire each and wrap tommorow when I got more time still haven't used my squonk mod yet :(

I just use 5mm for Leads on those Coil Building sites. It's close enough.

I never input lead lengths, I assume it falls to a default value.

So, 24 gauge kanthal wire, 3 mm diameter, dual coils, 0.3 ohm target resistance = 6 full wraps per coil.

I don't use any fancy tools.
Fine thread machine screw of appropriate diameter for contact coils, coarse thread for spaced.
I look to maximize coil to wicking surface area.
Position coils on deck according to whatever heat I want.
I've built a few, I don't use any modeling tool, after you understand the basics & practice a little you can almost do it with your eyes closed.
Wrap, mount, measure resistance, pulse strum pulse, remeasure, wick then vape.

Takes me longer to write out than do.
