Never used steam engine ...

Why not? Nearly every poster in this thread has recommended it. Everyone here has had extreme patience with you, yet you ignore the simplist advice.

My Explain it to the Dumb Noob: Ohm's Law Calculations for a Mechanical Mod even includes a tutorial video on how to use it. It's so easy to use. Check back here with your results and we can confirm if you did it right.

Sorry, if you still can't figure it out, then put away the mech (or sell it) and vape on your regulated mod ... you're not yet ready for a mech.

Mech dual coil 20700 battery

Never used steam engine I want a vape i get from Claptons warm and tasty

You never used SteamEngine and you have never had a satisfactory coil build, if I was you, I'd think about that one.

Well there is an experimental method for mechs that in the end you have to use somewhat anyway. Of course always test your coil before putting it on a mech. So you still need Ohm's and Watt's laws.

It is: If the coil runs too hot, add a wrap and try again. That will increase the resistance -- less power -- AND increase the size of the coil, both making it a bit cooler (less heat flux ;) ). If the coil heats too slow, try reducing one wrap. If that makes the resistance too low, start again with thinner wire. Etc. It ends up being safe enough but how laborious depends on your starting point. Maybe it explains it better though.

A mech battery sees a certain resistance "out there" and coughs up power as it does in the face of that load, but it has no idea really what it's driving. You have to align the power "pulled" from the battery with the coil's actual requirements.

My method of finding the right power level for an atomizer is also experiment-based, and is best done without the complexities of a mech. First, decide your airflow and technique. Only then try coils. If a bigger coil doesn't result being able to set the power level much or any higher, you've found your personal power limit for that atty. An even smaller coil may work better. However a little too big of one is still better than one too small. If a bigger coil does increase optimum power setting, keep increasing. I didn't have to deal much with that at 15W since even smaller seemed improbable.

Doesn't change a thing I don't like restrictive i rock everything wide open manta reload kensei bravo I closed down the rabbit with the 24g 6 wrap kanthal and at first it was ok but now not so much

I've been deathly sick with no time off I have plugged valued into steam but it's to confusing still don't get heat flux I like vape tool way more let's me use Clapton or any wire I want steam just let's me do round wire

I got some 26 g ni80 and want to rock a build in the rabbit but I think this thing needs huge coils and these flavor tanks look to restrictive for my tastes

Might go back in your thread & try a couple of the several dozen other build suggestions.

It has all be said in this thread, repetitively, considering you're struggling to understand something that really is fairly simple if you know the basics,,, start with the basics.

No one can tell you how to get the exact vape you like, we can relay what we do, that doesn't mean you can replicate it, will like it or be what you're looking for.

I'd suggest thinner wire more wraps. Faster ramp up, more heat, more surface area.

    All I could find was 26 g ni80 locally

I have like 90 bucks invested in this squonk set up and I've yet to squonk :(

Half tempted to throw this framed staple and try a single coil for the rabbit or maybe a Clapton of some sort I have never enjoyed any round wire vape on any mech I've tried I always feel like my reload has better flavor then goons hadalays what have you and they all were round wire builds

8 wrap 26 ni80 is what Im thinking comes out to .426 for a dual build with 3id

So, you "rock" everything wide open and you want warmth and flavor from a single cell mech with dual Claptons. I can't , for the life of me, see where the problem is.

Look, it can be done....but it isn't necessary and shouldn't be attempted by someone with very limited knowledge about mechs and ohms law.

I tried, but I give up. Good luck:thumbs:

I know ohms law keep it under .2
My 30 amps are super safe

But what I don't get is steam and ... heat flux is

Rock my reload full open with Clapton .22 builds and it's warm so

Wrong, if you had a clue you'd know to keep it above .2Ω, not under...
Low resistances are best left to people that know what they're doing and why they're doing it.
Your 30a cells are only as safe as the person using them, you've been given excellent advice, tips & tricks by some of the most experienced people to be found anywhere.
You've ignored or don't understand about 85% of it, that make you a lot less safe than you seem to realize.

'Rocking' .22 claptons using a regulated high watt power device is a completely different story than with a single cell mech.
    Again, basics.

I mean to put above but I was blindly tapping predictive text while coughing my face off

Above .2 and my 20700s safe

Still don't know how many wraps to try first with this 26g I really hate wasting cotton and in this case wire

    I don't want to experiment

I watched tutorials on steam still don't get heat flux not my fault I'm ......ed
