In one of the videos I watched I saw an eGo battery in which the end piece could be removed to reveal a USB passthrough option. When do you plan to sell these, if ever? Will this be what will make the special XL edition?

the eGo XL battery will just have ~100mAh more capacity, if janty did not change the design again.

There's going to be more to it than just 1cm and 100 more mAh. I hope it will be like the Baby J's battery!
Way back a few months ago when Igetcha69 first reviewed the ego my comment on the site was the ego would feel a bit more balanced if it was another half inch longer. Good to see others felt the same way.
Hurry up on this one because for me the ego xl will be a day one buy.

To be honest i think the feeling of it, and the weight distribution depends on how long your fingers are, and how strong you are.. so while it might feel a bit off to you, i can count on one hand how many people think that the weight distribution is wrong!
I guess what im trying to say is, it IS impossible to try and please everyone, so you go for the average, and i think thats where the eGo is now. With the XL battery added it might feel more comfortable than you, but more uncomfortable for others. But to be fair, you need to compare it to what else is on the market now, and in that regard i honestly think its pretty darned close to just-right.
Anyways, just wanted to chime in..

I find the Ego "just right", but I know I won't hesitate to get the XL batteries. I love the idea of not having to worry about battery life. As it is the Ego easily gets me through the day, but with the XL I would hardly even have to think about it. And that will be "just right" also.

I am a huge fan and have always said 99% of the complaints I have with the design is petty nitpicking and you have to be searching pretty hard for something to gripe about to ever find anything to bring up as far as complaints go.
Outstanding design, I hope you guys are proud of the work you put into it because I've been running around here for months saying I would not be suprised if someday we are all calling he ego the model T of vaping.
I hope you are still on track for an April launch for the XL because I am ready to order day one.
I am personally looking forward to getting the larger XL battery, the eGo standard battery falls just shy of where I would like it to be. I think this will balance it out for me.

The Janty eGo is the reason I kept vaping. Everything else I tried was just a little off. I'm definitely looking forward to adding an XL battery to the mix and can't wait to hear that the Tesla filter is "coming soon"! LOL.

Dont worry we know exactly what we are doing, but we cant tell you why yet. You will see.
There is a reason for everything, - and let me put it this way: If we dont carry something we invented ( as in the XL they have ) then it _might_ be because we have something much nicer in store, dont you think... ?

I don't know why but when I vape with my Janty eGo it feels like I'm wearing diamonds. There's something special - classy - about the eGo that I don't feel from the "other" one and maybe it's all in my head, but I don't care. No matter how good CZs can look you still know when you're wearing the real thing and it just makes you feel good. That's how vaping with the eGo from Janty makes me feel. I'm sure part of it is Mik and part is Janty being a good company, but the sum of the parts are greater than the whole.

I think in general people tend to forget that even though it is nice with new products, then to be honest, the eGo as a base kit IS enough. If you want a bit more mAH fine, but .. in the same package? Really?
We like to innovate. And we already created the perfect device, so now we have to try and make the next evolution of it, even better. And thats what we are doing while everyone else is stockpiling eGo's that have simply had length added to them.
