(I knew I'd get a chance to use that eventually lol )

So a few days ago, I used my Janty Ego for the first time while being a passenger. I flew from Frankfurt to Chicago on Air India. The flight was a breeze with an ego in hand! The great part was there is a USB charging port on the video screen at each seat. Not that I needed it with the rockin ego battery life, but it was nice to have all my batts nice and charged when I got off in Chicago.

I got a few strange looks from some passengers, but for the most part, the flight was uneventful. Close to the end of the flight I went into the back galley to talk to the crew about ecigs... None of them had ever seen a passenger using them, but seemed to unoficially welcome the idea.

I wasnt sure whether to post this thread in the travel and ecig forum, or the janty forum, so I decided to go with both. Heres some of the pics...

My husband and I are newbies! We both got the eGo, and we LOVE them! I thought it would be bulky, and the button hard to get used to... but nope...we've had them 3 days and it's like second nature already...well, for me anyway... hubby has tried to light his 3 times :D Two of his friends tried to light it also... I told them I'm going to start breaking fingers!!!

I don't think it's cute though... I think it's sssseeexxxyyyyy!!

lol nice. I too was surprised how easily I got used to a button when first getting a manual.

I'm looking at getting the silver manual set. I noticed the autos are only available in black. Was thinking of ordering an auto-battery to try. Will silver one's come out eventually, or should I go with a black manual set instead?

(if the silver don't show on the next restock I'll probably get the black manual anyway - willpower be damned, so it's not an end of the world issue)

Enjoy it Oso, you're gonna love it.

Stu, I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised and continue to be amazed with the vapor production of a single cart and one charged eGo. Two ten minute breaks of 10min each, 15 min vape session at lunch, waiting for the bus and a couple of 5min sessions at home and I have yet to even swap a cart out. I brought my charger with me to work. Didn't need it. This is great. No more carrying 2 batteries, to attys, 2-3 carts, or even pressing buttons for that matter.

Thanks Janty! Now it's time to spread the good news.

So, this is the Auto kit?
Hmmm, maybe I need to rethink something here.. I am saving for the Baby J and Tesla filter, so hard.. Damn you Mik!! Y do you make this so hard to come to a decision on the Janty products??
My Head Hurting.... Too much info.... Feel like its going to... EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!:-x:lol:

@StuBear

It actually was a great flight! Which is a long stretch as opposed to my typical runs with Air India 8-o However we had a great crew that day.

Unfortunatelly, Im not a pilot (thanks for the compliment however) I wish I was... I take that back. I wish I had their paychecks! *G* But I would be bored outta my mind if I had to sit up there for 9 hours on end!

I work as a Flight Attendant in the back with you guys. :) Keeps things more interesting that way!

I really think airlines will capitalize on ecigs in the future ala RyanAir. But thats just a personal opinion. I just wanted to show how great a travel companion the ego can be!

Hell I got the manuals and I am swapping out carts or at least topping off every 30 minutes at least. I am so looking forward to the Tesla filter.

just got my auto ego, can it be that it has a 3 second cutoff ? thats a bit soon in my opinion. for auto batteries 5 seconds would be ideal. and i think my original dura batteries had a longer cutoff. not that it was really bad, but i have to get used to it and "prepuff" at least once.

the 3 second cutoff would explain why stubear62 had a really hard time using them. if one knows about it, they work fine...you just have to drag like on a real cigar.
