I am not a heavy vaper due to the fact that;

  1. My boss compared me to this young woman on the show "Intervention." If anyone watches that show, she was the one who was inhaling canned air .. she went through about 6 cans a day. I was having a heavy vaping day and my boss said .. "Did you see Intervention last night ?? I knew what he was going to say.
  2. I had pneumonia in October I think .. I still find it hard to inhale sometimes. Even when I can't inhale, I love puffing on my PV like a pipe ...
I received my eGo the first delivery day .. Seems I have one weak battery. Fully charged I wasn't getting much vapor at about 7pm .. I am comparing it to the other battery that was giving lots of vapor the next day after a full charge. I might have a problem battery or maybe it got wet with juice, not sure. It has a full charge now but last nights battery is not ready to quit !!

With that said I can't believe how long the battery lasts. Vaped from 7pm well past midnight and then picked it up again early this morning. 5 hours later it is still vaping like a champ.

NICE .. I haven't seen any mention of how to buy additional batteries or how much they will be or ???

Diane

PS .. I like that I can almost make the eGo feel like a ciggie in my hand or a big fat filterless ciggie I bought in Jamaica years ago.

It could be your battery is damaged - test it some more, and if you find it is not up to performance contact your local shop.

As for liquid getting into it, this is not possible with our design, so that cant be in.

However, sometimes some batteries do need to be recharged a few times for them to "break in" so see if this will resolve the issue.

As for spare batteries, i dont know what the price will be yet - once the "storm" is over, we will begin putting these up, but they will be reasonably priced.

I got 24 hours PLUS on ONE battery. [The good one .. I will contact Ethan about the problem battery.]

New Years Eve at 7pm I put in a fully charged BIONIC battery. 7pm New Years Day I was stilll vaping like a champ. 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm ... STILL VAPING STRONG ... midnight starting to die off a little ... Woke this morning and that same battery vaped, but was just about history .. put it on the charger and attached the other battery .. YES MIK .. I believe it is FOR SURE a defective one. Not much vapor but I am going to give it a few more charges to be sure.

I plan on leaving the house for many hours so I am going to leave the good one on the charger until I venture out into the cold. It is 39 degrees in Florida this morning ..

Where 39 degrees might not seem cold to the snow birds .. between the high humidity and the fact that our buildings are not insulated against the cold 39 degrees makes for some pretty crappy weather. TOP THAT OFF with I am headed to the VW shop to have some work done on my beetle. It overheats unless I have the a/c running .. A/C is not necessary when it is 39 degrees out ...

While I am rambling ... This VW of mine runs like a champ -- NO HEAT AT ALL ...

and then there is this ..

with airconditioning ... without the a/c I will end up on the side of the road! Every time I drive it I feel like I have SOLD OUT and cheating on "Molly the Bus." She wasn't always so pretty!

What amazes me is you guys aren't feeling the "drop" off on the battery at all. I wonder what makes it different from using a 510 on a mod with a 14500 battery, because those drop off quick and I need to change a battery of 900 mAh, which we know is probably 600, within 3 hours max. So I wonder what makes this different?

To me, that is truly the most amazing feature of the eGo. We are all used to exaggerated battery life claims, but let's face it the last 25% it is "operating" it is at a much reduced performance level. Not so with the eGo.

Care to share Mik?

Richie brought this up earlier in this thread, I think it really is a valid point/question.

How much liquid are you going through on a charge?

Had this exact discussion earlier with Elendil and Kelemvor simply because the eGo has caught my eye and I'm trying to assess the value of the device.

As an example, I use the 510 atomizer @3.7v on a 16340 battery. I know from repeated observations that I will use somewhere between 1.5ml and 2ml of liquid per charge on a new battery.

It makes no difference at all if the charge lasts 4 hours or 24, I will still use the same amount of liquid per charge.

If it lasts 24 it just means I wasn't using it heavy. If it lasts 4 hours it means I was chain-vaping.

Ones persons idea of being a "heavy vaper" and an others will most always be very different and realistically impossible to quantify.

So I hope you can appreciate the suggestions for possible metrics that can be of actual value in assessing a devices performance.

Thanks
