Hah, good reading this morning ;)

So to answer some questions:

To me, that is truly the most amazing feature of the eGo. We are all used to exaggerated battery life claims, but let's face it the last 25% it is "operating" it is at a much reduced performance level. Not so with the eGo.

Care to share Mik?

Iiiill neeee-eever tee-eeell..

Well, as stated in the very beginning of this document it says

"The subject of batteries could take up many pages." - and the best way i can sum up to you why ours is working better than say a 14500 battery is to compare it to gasoline. Cheap gasoline will get you where you are going, - it might just damage the car slowly every time you use it. Our batteries arent cheap gasoline. ;)

I know thats a fast way of saying it, but.. it is really advanced, too advanced for me to understand - but the explanation lies there in.

We also have our special PCB inside, which wi

I HATE reading this. I HATE it. I've been holding out for the Baby J, telling myself I need the eGo like I need a hole in the head, especially given that I prefer a penstyle atomizer to the 510 nowadays.

Now all I can think of is acquiring an eGo.

Well, i have both and i feel that they both cover an area. The Baby J is made as an rechargeable e-cigar type - both in feel, taste, and look. So in my eyes you could/should get both for different occasions. I definately see the eGo as the (and my) everyday device - but i do use the Baby J for relaxing occasions, reading a book, strutting around in my imitation hugh hefner morning robe etc.

Cruel. Very cruel

Julie, they are even saying the flavor is better than a regular 510 with that cover on. hmmmmmmmmmm

It is

You are NOT helping, Lucky. Not even a little bit

Awww, hes trying!

Richie brought this up earlier in this thread, I think it really is a valid point/question.

How much liquid are you going through on a charge?

Around 14 drops per tesla filter and i think i average a 5-6 times fillup on a battery cycle - something like that

It makes no difference at all if the charge lasts 4 hours or 24, I will still use the same amount of liquid per charge.

Actually it does. If you read my note about how long you draw on the eGo compared to other e-cigs it can make a difference.

For instance, if Elendil is used to drawing for say 9 seconds in order to get the amount of vapor, and the throat hit + taste he usually wants, but he only NEEDS to draw for 3-4 seconds on the eGo to get the same effect - then his vaping style will actually determine the cycle-life of his eGo, seeing as he might take unnecessary long draws that will not make his throat hits, or vapor, or taste any better than those he could have taken with less effort! ... . if you understand my point ;) - and habit is hard to break.

I ordered one . . . you happy?

Geesh.

I have absolutely no willpower.

I couldnt help giggle at this :D Hope you will enjoy it!

A question about the eGo vs the Baby J: Using the same atomizer and juice, which has better flavour? I want a cigar-like experience, so the Baby J looks good, but then I'm thinking that the eGo looks pretty good, too. Har! I don't think I can afford both at the moment, though. :D

I really do like the idea of the atomizer cover helping keep the atomizer warmer for tastier juice. I have to puff like crazy on my M401 to get good taste, and then I think I get liquid in my mouth.

I understand exactly Mik. We're saying the exact same thing.

Thanks for the reply Mik. Your example of liquid used, assuming a 20 drop ml, is 3.5ml per charge. Now that is something that a person can actually use as a comparison factor.

'Nuther question if I might. What is the intended service life of the battery, how many charge cycles?

And again, very interesting device.

Hey!

As per listed, they state a minimum of 200 recharges on each battery.

i got my Ego on the 30th and it didnt die on me or lose vap production for three days. wow. bear in mind however that im not a heavy vaporer. i usually just vape for 10 or so mins every hour. i refill or replace a cart about three times a day.

but non the less 3 days is friggin insane. also i was vaping a little more than usualy seeing as it was new years and i stayed pretty trashed from late the 30th long into the new year.

just wanted to say thank you janty for such an awesome design. i already loved the 510 on vapor production, and taste i just hated carring around the charging case when i was traveling (i do mucho traveling), but the ego fixed the batt life problem and has made significant improvment on overall taste and vapor.

the next test will be to see how many charges the ego carries before dying on me like all my standard 510 batts have done.

much easier on the eyes than the xl510 batts and i love being able to stand it on its head. now if only i could get this kind of batt life out of my iphone id be set

Hmm, didn't see that data on the Janty sales site, hence the question.

So with my average use the minimum I could expect would be a little over 1 year betwixt the 2 batteries. And that is a minimum. Nice.

Just reviewing the posted warranty on the sales site. 6 months on atomizers? Wow.

Leaves me with the one remaining question Mik. Your Tesla filter, available tomorrow right? ;)

Thanks for your time, it's appreciated Mik

*If* the battery life truly is what is been reported with the eGo, and *if* the tesla filter is nearly as good as Mik's results, or if we fit a cartomizer on the eGo -- are we looking at the holy grail of PVs? Can we finally put a single device in our shirt pocket and walk out the door to face the day? Or simply outfit two eGos and have a security blanket?

I sort of wish I started vaping today instead of 7 months ago. LOL
