I know the feeling totally...that's how it is here when I'm expecting a new toy...wait wait wait, lol. But it's worth the wait in the long run.

Uh sounds like you might have your new ego very soon... *shudder* .. i hope you will like it, or all my nice words have been in vain now havent they? =)

I am not sure if anyone else has had the same problem. I purchased the V3 along with a 901 adapter and 510 adapter. The 510 adapter works great. Unfortunately the 901 does not. They sent me a new 901 adapter today but it doesnt work either. I know the attys are good because I have tried them on batteries. I did try the 901 in the 801 adapter and put it on an 801 battery but neither one is working.
Is anyone else having the same problem with their V3 and 901 adapters?

Lipo is not safe for e-cigarette use i believe. I could be wrong about this, but i distinctly remember something about lipo batteries NOT being able to rapidly charge and discharge - and that it is hazardous to drain them in the short-rapid manner that e-cigs do.

Ofcourse this was back when i flew RC stuff, - they could have improved.. :D

Lipos like to puff up and explode usually when you feed them wrong hehe!!

Do you like R/C tanks? I have 2 so far one is an all plastic Tiger 1 that needs upgrading to metal parts and the other is an already modded all metal Panzer III!!!!

I have had the eGo for a few weeks now and think it is great and loving it. Somewhere in the forum I had read some mention about an eGo XL battery that may be on it's way. I am asking not looking for extended battery life, not really needed, though that would be a benefit. I am asking because the one thing I would have liked is if the eGo was a bit longer. I feel it runs a little short from the switch to it's end to feel balanced in the hand, I think it should have been a little longer to make it easier to hold. Though as I said it is great and is my everyday unit, just looking to see if there was any news on a XL battery?

I did experience some connection problems with my BE112 attty's but as suggested above, simply pulling the center post up a little solved that problem and now they work great.

I have had my Joye Stick V3 for a little over a week and I really like it. The rubberized feel is just great and because of its size it fits my hand and in my pocket easy and because of the texture it doesn't fall out. I actually like this format better than the pen style or the 510.

This is my first venture up from my 510, KR8, BE112 and I use it almost exclusively now. Of course the battery life is longer than the 510 with the rechargeable 10440's but the thing I like best is using it with my Joye302 & BE112 atty's and carts. These hold about 4 times as much liquid as the 510's and last much longer.

I still am thinking about that eGo though???

I would probably like them - havent tried them though. I only drove monster trucks ( american all the way ! ), touring cars, and then the 1:6 trucks (0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds) ;D

The test shows that the voltage output of the eGo under load is about 3.1 volts (which apparently is not sufficient to properly power the atty).

Just need to chime in on that one: After reading about Scott's findings, I did try my 510 atties on a KR8 battery, which does deliver 3.7v. I did not like it very much, one flavour much worse, one very slightly worse, and one was fine. For me, that is another reason not to get myself a mod.
Those 510s on 510 batteries run exactly as they are supposed to, and I like them that way.

Although an eGo-like battery for my 901s would be nice. That one likes its 3,7. But then, they natively fit on those neat 380mAh KR8 batteries, and there has to be some use for those ;)
