I'm having some trouble with the site. It looks great, by the way. But it says the Janty USA team is in stock and ready for immediate shipping, and I can't find where to order it. I think it would be handy to have a team of professionals around to tend to my charging and cart filling needs. And some yardwork as well. Please let me know how to order, and how these are shipped (I'd assume holes are cut in the boxes to allow for air!)

We're still working on prices....right now you can order me (Ethan) for roughly 5,000,000 US whereas you can get Mik for $15.00 or so.

I use the blue foam in my cartridges and it works great. I use a piece that is 3/8 x 3/8 and I cut a "v" notch in the atty end, then I fill the cartridge about 3/4 full, insert the foam and then add a few more drops. I top it off with a few drops when it starts to get dry. Some juices wick better than others, but the results I get with this method are on par with dripping.

How many drops does the cart hold with this mod - how many drags do you normally get from a full cart?

THANKS

Massi:

Hey, while i do appreciate you taking the time to report this finding to us - then its not a problem for any of our users - and even if it is, its still not a problem thats big enough for us to come out with a commercial solution for it.

Look at it this way: if we produce hats, and 8 out of 1000 people can not fit those hats, then we are not going to start a new line of hats for those 8 people.

Im not trying to be rude - but that is the fact of the matter at the moment - even though you might have this problem, and several others might have it too - its just not something we can commercially solve at this point in time.

Also i do believe ( without promising ) that the tesla filter will solve this problem once it comes out.

Here are the easiest things to do, I have found, if you find there is slight melting on your carts (because I have only experienced slight) with whatever 510 device you are using, at whatever voltage, and with whatever method of usage.

Do the aligning thing... it has been mentioned before - this is what Robert has said about it previously -
The flat cart sides are deforming or melting cause you don't ALIGN the cart.

See the hot white thing in the atty? see it's shape?

See the shape of the cart opening?

See they are the same?

ALIGN them.

Now I can't be a**sed to do that all the time, and keep looking into the chamber every time I top off and put the cart back in;
so I trim out a V-section (approx 2mm deep) out of both flat sides of the cart.

Why I do this is, if you cut 2mm (approx) off the whole top, the cart is then a bit too far away from the atomizer element, to wick properly. It will still work, but won't smoke like it should do.

So I cut a V-shaped cut, very similar in shape to what ends up melting (assuming you are experiencing this, of course). It still holds and retains as much liquid, because the rounded sides of the cart are still the same length; and is therefore as close to the atomizer for wicking, as before.

Now exactly why this slight melting is happening to me (and others), but not to other people, I'm not entirely sure. I only use 3.7v, so it might just be the way I smoke... I like really big puffs, often taken in a series of three 5-7 second drags... I really want to fill up those lungs big time...
...it is the way I have always smoked. ;)

So where do I get this Blue foam you all speak so highly of? What exactly is it?

RIA
At the pet store aquarium section..bonded foam sleeve..
Actually, marineland..foam sleve for H.O.T. magnum ...rite size U...3 sleeves to a pack..

they're foam sleves for canister style aquarium filters and they're bonded on 2 sides..all you have to do is cut the bonded edges off and you have 6 large squares of it (could probably easily cut at least 100 pieces of filler out of each piece)...it's already 3/8" thick..so you only have to cut strips 3/8" wide and then to length (mine I cut to 1" long)..

Drops vary from bottle to bottle..so that's kinda subjective..as someone else said I fill the cart almost full with juice then put the foam in...squish it all the way down to get the air out of it and then pull it back up level with the edge of the cart and top it off til it looks slushy...full cart, I wont have to top of for a couple of hours on my eGo..taking 4 or 5 drags every couple of minutes or so..

Thanks Toby for joining the thread,
did you ever experience slightly melted carts using a 510 device with 901 cart instead?
i'm using those carts right now with my eGO as they hold more juice, curious if anybody ever had the melting issue with that combo..

I wasn't aware that 901 carts hold more liquid than 510 carts... I thought it was other way round... Right from the start, that was supposed to be an advantage of the 510 over the 901 (but please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't measured ..lol..).

But TBH I am not the right person to ask (but since you're asking...), as I have barely used 901s at all; and not 901 carts in a 510 atomizer, as the fit is very poor (too tight, don't really fit properly).

Mik:

It's absolutely reasonable what your saying and I'm with you.
What do you do if your brand new device starts melting carts and you inhale plastic?
You write to customere care support becouse you want your brand new device to work properly.
I just wanted to understand what was wrong with mine before buying new carts or send back the atom ,plus I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong ,not written in the manual, that's it.

You spoke about very low resistance atom geting too hot (2.5 ohm) is it my case with 3.1 on all three?

p.s. I was bit disappointed couse you tooke me for a heavy beast monster melting iron by inhaling :D

Hey Massi,

Well we do care about customers, you know that. All i am saying is if you + say 20 other people out of 1000 have this problem - then its highly unlikely its a problem with our product, but infact a problem that lies with how the user, uses the product.

But as i said earlier, i cannot reproduce this myself - i cant melt my cart even if i try to ( well i probably could, but then i would be going above and beyond extremes compared to how i normally vape ) - so its hard for me to see how this can even happen in the first place.

As for the atomizer resistances, im actually not sure what they are supposed to be at - dont recall the numbers but im pretty sure Kelemvor, or someone else on the board knows these figures by heart - if they wanna chime in to the thread :)

I think 15 euros is a bargan...think he probably comes with all the prototypes as accessories..
And since the online store is STILL out of stock on just about everything manual eGo sets, eGo batteries, cones, dura atties..it's REALLY a bargan...

Sorry if that sounds snarky..but it's getting frustrating...it's confusing how janty can be constantly out of stock on everything but other shops that have rebrands or are reselling janty products can have stock...I'd rather have janty original..but it's almost like they don't want our money...sorry I've been waiting over a month now to be able to order another eGo set or 2 (one in silver) or even just a few batteries, cones, and dura atomizers...it's getting kinda rediculous..
