Hey everybody,
Just wanted to let everyone know I went and bought an Automatic eGo battery from JantyUSA and recieved it today by UPS.
It was shipped in the usual plastic UPS shipping bag. I opened up the bag and I took out my automatic battery (it was put into a bubble bag to help protect it during shipping)
I looked it over and seen a little hole which I would guess is to allow the air flow through the battery. I also noticed the little hole in the middle of the battery where the atty is connected to, which is a normal thing for automatic batteries. Okay, so I put on a Janty atty and the cone and proceeded to take a few puffs and this is a pretty neat battery. I have it on the charger and will do a video review tomorrow (Saturday) as to how and what is with this Auto eGo batt. from Janty..
Stay tuned and you will get the pro's and con's on the Auto Battery!!

PS. Yes there are CON's to the Battery but will point them out in the video!

A few days to break in the Janty V3? I really think mine hates me. I got rid of the nasty rubber flavor last night thanks to Mik. Since then I get the burnt atty taste. I put 3 drops on the atty, make sure the cart is full , then try again. Still burnt. By this point I take out the atty again and the whole bottom of the atty is soaked. I blow it out , dry it. Use a qtip to dry the inside of the V3 where the atty goes. Then start over how Mik told me to burn out excess liquid, 2 drops on atty wait 20 secs then 5 drops on atty then wait a minute. Make sure cart is full again and put back together and try to vape. I get 1 puff of so-so flavor then burnt taste again.

Please help me I am so frustrated I am ready to give up on it.

Hello everyone, am placing my Review here so everyone can see it and you will need to decide for yourself if this will be for you. I for one don't ike the Automatic Battery for the eGo and will in fact return it and get another manual battery in its place. I believe this wasn't thought out all that well like the manual batt and it needs improvement. Just MHO on this and where .. just watch the Video.. I explain more in there. Please leave comments and or rate this Review so I know how I am doing for all of you with my Videos.. TY and Enjoy!!

It could be a number of things, - if you get the burnt atty taste it does sound like its either not getting enough liquid or too much ( i know it sounds weird on the too much, but it can happen )

So you might wanna try blowing it out, then dont do anything else to it ( dont fire it up etc ) and just drip one drop in there, vape see how that is. If bad, add another, - and once its there see how long it goes for. If that works, its because you are adding too much or too little into it when doing "my process". Remember you have to find your way of doing it or it wont work, i dont know the size of your dropper bottles outlet nor which kind of liquid youre using.

For me for instance, if i add 5 drops everytime i think it goes dry, i end up flooding it, and it tastes bad. if i only add 3 drops everytime, i do have to drip more, but it does work perfectly.

Good review. I was thinking of grabbing a few autos and giving it a try but after your review I will pass on it now. You had mentioned getting a headache at least 10 times and not having a LED to let you know when it is active or if the battery is dead is just poor thinking ahead, in my opinion. Thank you for saving me a headache, I will stay with my eGo manuals. As you stated I am sure someone will like the auto over the manual just because they dislike manuals.

Hey,
I am not knocking Janty to come out with the Auto Batt, just not worth it to me and everyone as their own opinion. So, yes I do like Manual Batt's and others do not and will still buy the auto batt and thats fine, I just cannot recommend anything I feel, MHO, that for a product that needs a bit of work before it came out. Yeah, I hate getting a headach and this gave me one everytime I dragged on it. I don't know if it is just this one or what, but it needs to be a little bit easier to draw on and deff. needs a LED to show when the batt needs to get a charge and when its working or not. Too many times to prime puff on it to get a decent drag of vapor.

Sorry, there is one other thing I forgot to mention and that is, it IS sound activated... The Auto batt does go on with either it being tapped and hit hard enough to turn it on.

Great review stubear. I was just wondering if you tried it without the atty cover? I know the auto 510's get most of the airflow to the atty through the battery connector and not thru the battery itself. Maybe they just need to modify the cover with a few small holes for better airflow? I have to agree on the LED situation. I like that flashing light to tell me my battery needs a charge so I don't wonder if I killed an atty. I know with my home made mods I usually try to get a drag 5 or 6 times before I realise my battery is dead. Thanks to this review, I'm glad I ordered the manual kit as I was contemplating the auto.

Hey,
If you mean the cone ? I tried it with and without the cone on and yes it was eiser, but too much air without the cone. This is suppose to be used with the cone and if you want the Auto Batt, I would suggest to use the cone or too much air comes thru. I just didn't think the manual would be that way, but I feel that either with or without the cone and the manual batt will work . Only because of the button control for power. The auto is better with the cone, but still got that headach.
