Well, we dont mind people discussing stuff on here, but when you make a post and ask for janty customers advice, then go with another product and keep on asking for it - and even link to pages showing "better offers" (which they definately are not) then.. youre stretching our patience.

As for the stock, we ARE working on a permanent solution for this - we will hopefully enlighten you all soon about this!

The reasons for it have mainly been the CNY yes, and the popularity is also making it hard. We sell around 50 a day once theyre in stock - so even if we have 200-300 it takes a few days to sell them out.

But, as i said we are definately working on it - and we can feel the pain when you can, trust me :) Noones sitting around here counting money laughing.. infact theyre just sitting there looking.. being quite bored since they have nothing to do! ;) So we definately want this situation to change as well, and are working our best on it!

As for the quality of the rebrands i cant really comment on that for obvious reason! :)

Not to cause any problems, but I am curious about the two chargers. The USB charger for the EGo can be used through your computer or plugged into a wall charger? Is there a difference between charging at a lower or higher mA in the long term effect on the batteries?

I want an Ego, but they are sold out so when will your next shipment come in so I may jump in before they run out.

The USB charger for the eGo that comes with the Janty eGo set can be plugged into your computer, or into a wall adapter that has a USB socket in it - and thereby into your socket outlet as well.

The batteries will last equally long if they are being charged with a fast or a slow charger.

And dont worry - questions like that are perfectly fine - its only when people advertise for other resellers, or use our forum to ask for support in, when they have infact purchased their items elsewhere.

Well since Mik didn't answer your when will they be in question, but did confirm that CNY is the majority of the problem...I'd hazard a guess to start looking for em around the 22nd ish.. CNY (chinese new year) is something like 15 days long so the factories and shipping and everything are shut down for something like 16 days..So alot of the chinese suppliers were not shipping anything between the 6th and the 19th..
Best answer go to the Janty US site and use the notify me function..you'll get an email when the eGo sets are in stock..

I cant comment on this in depth.

I can say that there are alot of threads out there on this particular subject, and to be honest you get what you pay for. With the more expensive one you get a long warranty, with the less expensive one you get no warranty.

People report the dura's to be just as good as the tawa's in general from what i see. Some people prefer tawa's, other prefer dura's.

The only thing i can guarantee is that both buys is a good deal: The Tawas for the price and the Duras for the warranty. But i will not comment on how either are made, or why it is like this - some things are our secret ya know :)

Having said that, i still think your best bet is to ask people / the users. Are they satisfied with X, and why? - All it comes down to at the end of the day is not if your atomizer lasts for Y period cause that depends on type of usage as well, but how good the atomizer itself is.

Atomizers are expendable, and to me should be treated as such - it shouldnt be something you buy with the level of cautiosness you might use for buying an e-cigarette, if that makes sense?

The LED and its size is determined from years of people telling us they want to move away from having LED's shine up on their devices. So while youd rather have one, this is a direct implementation based on customer wishes. I think youll find as you progress that the LED is only useful for you and for your troubleshooting.

So while there is a LED on there its actually only on there to troubleshoot, - not to navigate by, and it is made so it is not ment to be seen. Alot of people prefer that, seeing as if it lights up, you could be confused with an analogue smoker - and the more you get into the e-cig business you (or most people) will find that the LED while being cool, is also something you wish to be able to concede.

I don't have the auto battery but I'd like to comment on this part of your statement...

I agree 110%... When I 1st started vaping the LED's were cool... They yell, look at me and my new toy... As I progressed in vaping I found that I did not like the LED's at all....

Most (99%) of the Mod devices do not have a LED... I wish I could get the manual eGo battery without the LED...

For my taste, I much rather be LED'less

Well, the manual battery IS designed so you can / will cover the led with your finger for that reason alone.

Its nice to have a LED, but its also nice to be able to cover it =)

I agree... I use it upside down (compared to how many vape) and activate the switch with my thumb... It does hide the LED unless you are in a dark room, then you get a very faint glow but that's it...

Awesome device, nice job!

As for the hard draw, sounds like you have to send it back to me - does not sound normal at all. The draw on it should be light - the VERY first draw can be a bit harder, but should never feel cumbersome!

Seems to me the potential analog confusion comes in when you're seen holding an object, you bring it to your mouth and what appears to be smoke comes out of your mouth shortly thereafter :p In fact, an object with a LED light on it's side would seem to be one of your first clues that it was NOT an analog...

You would think so, but in general people will see something light up from a distance, and then smoke and connect the two.

But to be honest i think the problem is more of a "I dont want everyone to see the LED cause that means they will come and ask me tons of questions" - i know thats how it is for me - at a party or social gathering, i can basically spend 90% of my time there explaining about e-cigs to god and everyone cause they wanna know. If i dont use a LED e-cig or hide it, then i choose if i want people to find out. :)

Hey,
I went and did some testing in pitch black darkness last night and I still do not see anything light up with in that very small hole. The ONLY way is for me to strain my eyes to look directly into that lil hjole and barely see a "dark red" LED light up and not for too long. I had my wife try this battery and she too doesn't like the draw as she said it was harder and no vapor when she got any. In all, I would recommend it, but NOT the way it is now. I opened up a ticket with the USA shop and haven't heard anything yet. (that was on Sunday) I will wait until WEthan gets back to me and in the meantime, I will use my manual batt as its the only thing I have now to use. I just can't wait for the Baby J and tesla filter to come out. Trying to save my pennies up.. LOL;)

It does seem like that battery has some stuff going on thats not all kosher.. - i mean the LED is tiny yes, but should be easily viewable if you look for it - and together with what youre describing it does sound like you need it returned. Im quite sure you will actually love the auto battery once you do get one that works as intended.

After a 2 week wait, received the new eGO today but the kit arrived without the atomizer. Exceptionally disappointed :grr: It will no doubt be sometime next week at the earliest before the situation gets addressed, assuming they have atomizers available at this point. I tend to do my research prior to purchasing and thus I am greatly surprised by such a regrettable lack of quality control on the part of JantyUSA. I'm assuming there are others on this board who have received, or will shortly receive, an eGO kit from this latest China shipment...has anyone else has encountered a similar issue? TIA

UPDATE: Received response from Ethan today, they will be shipping out the missing atomizer ASAP. Haven't seen any other reports of kits from most recent China shipment with missing parts...I guess it was just my turn to hit a random spot of bad luck? Ah well, now that the initial disappointment has come and gone, I suppose the glass-half-full viewpoint would be that I get to experience the anticipatory "can't wait to try the new eGO" excitement all over again :p

What it could be which is just a guess of course... the reason you are having to draw so hard to get vapor AND the led is so dim... you are not getting the right voltage supplied to the atty (too low) I have that "problem" with some of my battery mods.... and it usually happens when I forget to charge my extra batteries and I am trying to squeeze the last bit of charge that I can from them.....

If it is fully charged... you still might have the same problem, but it is the curcuit that is causing the bad voltage output(under load) either way since it is an entire assembly maybe a replacement would be needed...

I will be lurking for some more responses on this matter I am sure as a whole it will be resolved one way or another if you know what I mean
