I will be interested to try this with an 801 cart. They seem absolutely monsterous compared to my 901's[/quote

The first time I did this, I said to my self holy shi.. look how much juice that 801 cart took, better order more juice!

Other people take the wick out, fill the cart 1/2 way, then put the wick back, and top off. I find this to much of a mess, and waste of juice, because it over flows at times that way.

If you vap heavy like me, you need to get your self that Janty Stick or a Pen style that use 801 carts, Less refilling. I also have the Screwdriver which uses a 901 cart, Great for home and other places where I have the time to keep refilling those 901 carts. I was taking my Pen 801 with me, along with my SD to work, but now I will just take along my Janty Stick. One e-cig, one battery only, that charges while I vap. It's a beautiful thing.

You're not alone, but I'm giving it time and grumbling on ECF while I await developments ;)

If Your Batts Fully Charged (Try With USB Connected too, Lights Flash On Stick When Power Button is depressed if Manual) and Or Connected To The USB Check The Atom Is Tight (Not Cranked On But Semi-Firm) (Try Another Atom On It Too If U Have One).

Then: Atom Is Dry Or Flooded: Make Sure Your Cart If Good & Wet But Not Overfilled (Takes Practice, I Use 4 to 6 Drops On 801 Cart), But Besure You Did Not Flood It Too (If Your Dripping Its Probably Flooded). If Your Atom is Flooded otr Even Think So Its Safe To Do The Atom is Flooded Routine (Remove & Blow Into Papertowel or Leave Upside Down overnight).

Also At Night When Your JS Is Going To Bed, Be Sure To Let Your Stick Sleep Upside (if your not removing the Atom, The Atom Should Be Upside Down To Drain Everynight) So The Juice Won't Leave The Atom Flooded.. If You Sleep Upside Down & Vape, Don't Bother Then. LOL!

Check it Out. :D

I've got two atomisers, the original and a TAWA, am using the latter. I never thought about leaving it to drain overnight (or when my Stick and I sleep - see how I'm here with you Yanks in my night-time :) ).

Thanks for the tips!

Janty Stick, No comparison, Very long battery hours 7-8 hours, Manual switch( get the manual) carts are 801 long lasting than any others 901, Dura, Joye510 etc., loads of vapor, great throat hit, you do not have to take out the battery to charge, plus a lot more.
The Stick Rock's, See my review, May be the Best on the market right now.

Thank you smokey, you made my day! Actually i ordered the stick (manual) before i made my first post on this forum and i was having second thoughts about keeping the order or cancel it. Now i can't wait to put my hands on this thing.

First thoughts after opening the bubble wrap, nice compact design and looks nice. The leather case is cute too and holds a couple extra batteries. I've had the stick for 2 days now and think I now have it working properly.

To say the atomizer is tight is an understatement. My thumb is sore as hell trying to get the classic atomizer in the stick. The battery is as bad as the atomizer as far as being tight. This was the main problem I was having, the spring was not strong enough to push the battery tight after stuffing it in. Now I had to take a small knife and scrap some of the plastic off the inside of the atomizer hole to open it up. The atomizer is still very tight but the battery slides in much easier and the spring acts loaded as it should. IMO Janty should have made the stick a couple of MM wider, on mine the metal ring on the thumb screw is actually shaved flat on the side where the atomizer is but not enough, making things too tight. I'm sure it designed that way to keep it from turning when putting the thumb screw in but it needs some spacing to not interfere with the atomizer.

The 2 batteries I received with the stick don't hold a charge long at all, less than 30 mins. I finally used some 10430 cigar batteries I have and get about the same time as my mini pipe, 2 1/2 hr off straight vaping. During normal use I get about 4 to 5 hr. of vaping, not bad.

Now that I have a working Stick it does as advertised. Lots of vapor, good battery life and with an 801 cart last longer without refilling as often. This thing is a juice hog though, it does empty out quicker than any other penstyle I've used but is also empties the cart almost completely. First sign of a burnt taste, time to refill. The taste of the liquid is also like using any other penstyle I've tried, you loss a little taste compared to 510, 901.

Overall the product is a good buy if it arrives problem free. Time will tell how long they will last. I would send mine back and ask for a working Stick if they had them in stock.

Edit: Left out it has a decent throat hit also and can't wait for the 510 adapter to get the taste back. Oh and the primer in the new atty was the worst I've ever had.

I made my finger hurt today reloading the tracking number every 10 minutes, waiting for a name other than xxxx! Finally on the move.
This has been one of the most stressful months I have EVER known.
Came into Oak Creek Wis (Milwaukee), then to Madison, and about 6:00 AM Monday should get into Argyle!!!!! Mailcarrier comes through about 2pm, so I do believe after that I will take the rest of the day off.

update:
it seems that the case it comes with is starting to screw up the paint on the far side of the led band. also my button seems to be getting loose and looks like it might fall off... this just sucks the visual aspect of the stick needs to be addressed ASAP! everything else seems to be ok.

Agreed... I reckon after a few months the ole Stick is going to look pretty beat up... I can live with that (adds a certain lived in look like my old Zippo lol), but I'd rather not ;)

Long term a flashy polished stainless metal case would be the way to go or ditch the silver paint job and go all black gloss plastic like the backplate - then again thats getting scratched up too.... so...???
