Am I killing my batteries, or do they just suck.

Example: First thing in the am, I plug it into my usb wall charger until the red light goes off and it works great for about 15 minutes (Throat hit and good vapor)

After that I do get a good amount of vapor, but it's cooler, and no throat hit at all. The battery does last a few hours this way, which is not too bad.

So basically, when at home, I've been using it while plugged in, and at work, I'll go out for a puff then plug it back in. I have a portable charger for use while driving.

(I still go outside to hang out with the smokers, and I can avoid work for a while)

After about 4 days of this, my first set of batteries when the stick says they're charged, provide the weaker performance, like I've already been using it a while.

I switched to my spare set, same story.

So what am I doing wrong? Any advice would be appreciated, because even with the issues, I have drastically reduced my analog usage. But if this thing becomes a hassle like everything else i tried, I fear frustration will cause me to give up the e-thing.

Rexa, thank you for that post! You say that the tight carts are better. Meaning the white portion is more snug against the side of the atomizer casing, right? If so, you said that the Beci, carts are very snug with the Beci Atomizers. Is that the case with the Janty atomizer using a Beci Cart? I really love the soft plastic style Ruyan carts but they still have condensation problems with the Janty atomizer. (the only atty I have) I email Beci and they said they don't offer the soft plastic ones, but I'd be willing to try them if they are more snug in multiple brands of atomizers.

Thanks, Tribal for the input of the Ruyan attys and them not leaking. Can they be bought at RuyanDirect?

This one is pretty funny! After I posted the fact that I NEVER get juice in my mouth with the stick, I sucked real hard and got a mouth full of juice.

Lately I've had the best results by just dripping 2 drops of juice on the atty and taking about 2-4 drags before repeating. Every time I repeat, I wipe the sides of the cart with a paper towel. This seems to keep the inside of the stick just wet enough to produce great tasting vapor without flooding/leaking. It is a bit of a hassle, but it's the best I can do right now.

It is the Cameo. Pic was origanlly posted by Ludo.

Tough thread, no? Pic is from jantyclub site, thus 'available to the public.'

S'ok, if it's not the caemoe, someone went through a *whole* lot of trouble, especially as many figured it was a commercialized version of the 'sidewinder' mod..which the pic certainly is.

@mace - do you know if it's metal or plastic ?

So Janty is going to turn the model E2882 flashlight/lighter into PV's?

    That should be impressive.

I think it's luck of the draw with these batteries. Others have had the same problem (mine have been pretty good so far, couple of weeks). They're cheap, 3 bucks each, and you pretty much get what you pay for with respect to quality at this price point. I have 5, only used the first two so far, but I'm ready for these to fail, at which point, I'll order a couple more.

i don't think so. i still have no tool that uses dura/510 atos.
and i don't need a amulettstyle PV. and i bet 100:1 it will be such thing.

    girltool, pffft ;)

PS: i want that cool looking pipethingy we saw a few weeks ago.

Yanno, I've thought about that. Having a handy light PV that hangs around your neck could kinda rock. Goona play with making a gold chain Dura-C manual battery mod.

I like it. Doesn't look like that terrible a mod, either. Take out the lighter guts, replace with Li bat, use wiring for the flashlight to the atomizer connector. Fitting in a switch and charging port could be a trick, but not horrible I'd think. If I had a bit more time, they're cheap enough I'd consider doing one for giggles. Those lighter bodies tend to be fairly robust too...

Plus it would be convenient having that bottle opener under the atomizer. I'm waiting for someone to make a PV/Light/Laser/USB-Key/Remote/etc. You've got multitools. You've got swiss army knives. Surprised there isn't a multi-e-tool on the market yet. Seems pretty logical.
