I've never known anyone that was red/green color blind. Out of sheer curiousity, I would like to ask a few questions. Do you mind?
1. What color do you see on the charger?
2. Are red/green the only 2 colors you have trouble with?
3. Do you have trouble with all shades of red/green on all surfaces or just lights?
Ever widening my circle of knowledge....
This is exactly why I love forums !!
Thanks
Hey all my Wife tells me I'm very bad with colors. I disagree with her but what do I know I've never seen through her eyes.
Don't feel bad about teasing me. when I told my wife I posted this before asking her what color the light was. she laughed and told me I was an idiot.
I mostly confuse red / green but basically any color that has red / green in it can confuse me.
As far as what color I see on the charger. I see what ever color my Wife tells me it is. Basically it could be either, I'm not sure. When I plugged the charger in at night It was red. When I checked it in the morning it still looked red.
yes it is worse with lights. not sure why. As far as traffic lights go. I basically don't see the green light at all at night it just merges with all the other street lights ( looks white ). But I see the red quite clearly. This has scared the crap out of me more than once when I realize I'm in the middle of an intersection and can't remember seeing the light. though I've learn over the years it's always green when this happens.
As far as shades of red / green. I see them as darker or lighter but this can also cause confusion. what the surface is doesn't seem to make a lot of difference.
Problem is most colors are not primary ones. the world is filled with a mixture and thats where I get lost.
I don't concider myself color blind. I just see colors diferently. Aperenly to different to fly a plane though.
I realize now the original post was kind of dumb. I thought the light would go out when charged. when it didn't I look hard at the light and it still seemed red. had I known it switches to green I would have asked the wife first.
