i have right here dumb 801 atti, it seems that the airholes are blocked, i have to suck like a goat on this thing. just nothing for the stick, i most of the time drain the liquid up.

i have emailed janty already about this. seems to be the famous chinese tolerance as we say in germany ;)

this one is definatley to new to be clocked.

i have totally worn shaby looking kissbox attis from march and these do still very well.

They're going to taste nasty for a little bit after a dry burn, just a heads up there. The burned taste is coming from the coil. It may take a few drops of liquid to clean that up a bit. Also, even after a cleaning, they do take a bit to start soaking up the e-liquid properly, even with your drying technique, I would think it may need a bit more time. The metal mesh can trap a lot of water inside and thin the e-liquid to the point where the vapor production will seem minimal.

I would suggest to drop a few drops on the bridge (3-4 tops), vape on it, keep going until you get a) hot metal flavor, which means atomizer needs more liquid, then re-drip 3-4 more drops or b) you get good vapor production, then you're good to go.

I cleaned 2 atomizers last night and finished them today, it took a bit to get them going again, but they are putting out nice vapor production, and tasting nice and clean.

Hello

I've had my Stick for about a month now and I use it daily instead of my ePuffer Magnum.

I ordered 4 bottles of different flavours, 2 attys and 4 batteries.

Here's the problem:

The vapour production is really uneven, like, sometimes it will work great and sometimes it will give little vapour and then suddenly lots and then suddenly nothing. I've tried to rule out the factors, for example, no liquid in the cart, dying battery, new atty in, etc etc. It does the same ALL THE TIME!

Now, here's something weird I've noticed as well: when I get one of those non-vapour drags, my mouth gets a weird taste, and the best description I can come out with is that it tastes like a strange battery/chemical/electrical taste, no vapour. Then, it will suddenly produce vapour, and then not.

I've tried 2 different atomizers, the black one that came with the kit and the silver one I bought on the side, I've tried full, empty and half empty carts and I've tried all 4 batteries.

This happens a lot, in the past 2 weeks.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Do I need to send it in for a repair?

Thanks!

Leo

I gave up on carts, I'm tired of dealing with the hassle really. I changed over to dripping. I get no more liquid through the mouthpiece, and no more wicking issues. You may want to give this a try, if not then perhaps for the next person.

Blow the atty out (clean slate if you will), drop 4 drops of liquid on the atty bridge (slowly), wait a few seconds between drips to let it soak in. Put the mouthpiece (only) on the atomizer, and vape on that for a bit.

I've found I get consistant vapor dripping, the carts are not perfect and just end up being more of a fuss than I am interested in dealing with. At least with dripping, when you get the hot atomizer taste, you know its time for another 4 drops, and yer off vaping again.

Of course, the carts may not be the problem at all! But if it is, this will confirm it, and you may find yourself enjoying your vaping experience with a bit more consistancy :)

I've been all day, and I've checked the atomizer a few times down where it connects to the battery, and no liquid has gone through the hole (not that it really matters, since the battery is sealed). But I would even get that on occasion with carts.

Also! Make sure those atomizers are screwed in nice and tight, make sure the connectors have been cleaned good.

I haven't had any problems with the batteries, as tmbrown327 mentioned, I don't even notice a performance decrease until it just stops vaping and blinks red LED letting me know its time to charge.

I do however prefer the passthrough, it seems to be better, perhaps this is because its dealing with a fully charged battery every puff.

I can get 4-5 hours of moderate to heavy usage while at work at my cube off purely battery power. I don't really use passthrough at work except to charge the battery, even though I could, I just like not having to deal with extra cords while I am working.

I will give it a try, BUT, is it supposed to taste like this every now and then? Have you ever felt the weird taste I'm talking about?

I hope I get an answer from Janty too, I want to know if I can send it in for a repair or get a new one.

If it's the same taste I get. Yes. I always take a direct lung hit, so I don't really taste much in my mouth per-say until the exhale, or the little bit as it hits my tastebuds while hitting my lungs. I do get a hot-metallic taste when the atty runs dry. Somtimes I get decent vapor hit with it, other times not.

With carts, I get inconsistent vapor production unless I take a puff, let it rest, take another puff, let it rest, etc. There are a LOT of factors when dealing with carts, and therein lay the inconsistency (for me at least).

It may still be something else, but ruling out the cart itself may give us more insight where the problem really is.

I have about 12 batteries,
They suck.
After 15 large puffs they drop totally in voltage.
The stick does not charge them enough.

Do you have a wall charger and a way to test the voltage on a battery fully charge through the USB cable vs Wall Charger?

I've found that sometimes I vape faster than the cartridge can wick. When that happens, you'll find that the vapor is inconsistent and you can get the nasty burnt taste.

My best suggestion is to either (1) let your JS rest for a minute or two when you notice the lack of vapor and/or burnt taste, or (2) start dripping without a cartridge.

Now that I have a V2, I'll probably just start dripping with it. Like RenaissancePuffer, I'm getting kind of tired of dealing with cartridges.

Give it a go for a day. I've spent the whole day dripping and it's been a whole new experience for me, a LOT less stress dealing with those blasted carts!!

I even think I'm tasting a lot more flavor. Almost like those fillers end up filtering out some of that good flavor.
