Cyclone will not fit a 2.0 or mini. Its standard cap is a good option for a Grand or VV Grand. The special air control cap that is sold for the Cyclone will not fit any of the REOs as far as I know.
The funny thing I notice about Cyclone/RM2 comparisons, people seem to prefer the one that they got first.

Here is my first attempt at a micro coil. I just got my Reomizer this morning. After several failed attempt, and a few great looking coils ruined by stupid mistakes, I ended up with this. It measures out 1.2ohm on my Vamo. I am pretty satisfied with it though. It hits way better than the 1ohm 5 wrap coil I made quickly this morning before I went to work. It is 28 gauge Kanthal with just some natural cotton.

Don't mind the very dirty Reo. I kept firing it without the top cap on and juice is splattered all over it now. It will get a nice bath tomorrow.

What did you use to wrap the wire around? I only ask because I've gotten 1.4 using 1 1/16 before.Tried to make micro coil and had 9 wraps with 30 wire, coil looked nice but ohmed out at 2 ohms, everything was okay except the vape was to cool I could have added 2 or 3 more wraps but the vape would have even been cooler. 6 wraps around a double 2.5 mm silica wick gave me what I wanted 1.5 ohms. I made it like Rob's video. What would I do to get a 1.5 ohm atty with say 10 to 11 wraps and a silica wick. Thanks.
28 ga Kanthal! It will give you just what you want. A 10 wrap of 28ga gives me almost 1.4 ohms.Tried to make micro coil and had 9 wraps with 30 wire, coil looked nice but ohmed out at 2 ohms, everything was okay except the vape was to cool I could have added 2 or 3 more wraps but the vape would have even been cooler. 6 wraps around a double 2.5 mm silica wick gave me what I wanted 1.5 ohms. OK, Supe, found it. The bottom end, that is. Built a coil where the cotton can't keep up. Well it does fine for about 4 seconds; but I like a longer pull. So, here's where I found my "Road Closed" sign on this little highway of me and cotton and micro-coils. Mind you, not a problem! I'm very happy with my regular setup; but I was curious about certain allegations re: the REO not being able to deliver enough zip to your zap. The REO, btw, does it's job just fine. It can deliver more voltage than is necessary or sane.
26g Nichrome, 0.4Ω

Well, dizzie, I was about to answer you. 80 is 80% nickel and 20% chromium / 60 is 60% nickel 16% chromium and 24% iron
My regular setup is w/ same 26g Nichrome wire, 8 wraps, 0.5Ω. Great.
Man, seeing y'all running that thick wire makes me want to try some just so I can get the shirt n all, but I don't order it cause I am pretty much a LR - SR kinda hombre with micros. It'd just be a waste in my case. It looks rugged as heck though.
I'd probably get some if I ran scientifically proven, coil commission compliant "standard" coils or dug SLR though
I'm glad your trip to the edge went well my friend. Glad to have ya back![]()
