Tomcatt has graciously done some research and posted it in the rba subforum here. It doesn't list 28ga, however. Which "type" (A, A1, etc.) you use makes a difference as well.

Note that I've been very happy with 30ga, which I initially picked because it was "middle of the road" between 28 and 32.

I initially tried a bunch and even got a whole spool of 29g, but I kept coming back to 30g. It's easier to work with and I rarely torch it before making a coil.

ah shucks... i was hoping that was for Reo; you know, like every day use.
Doesn't it fit the RM2 size?
I'm used to .7 Ohms on Reo Grand... batts are so easy to slip in and out. :)
But haven't tried 26g yet.
I'm totally with ya. I hate slow heating coils, I want a good vape on the first pull, no prefiring to warm up or having to constantly take drags so it keeps going. I hate gennies with SS wicks for this very reason, well that & cause I'm a bottom feeding Reonut (yeah "a" left out intentionally).

This one fires up fine & produces crazy dense vapor. Of course batteries don't last long with it but I only use this for the occasional fix when I get the urge to blow clouds. I'll put it on my tube mech (doesn't fit a REO) fill the room with vapor then put it away. :)

Well... if you're gonna go posting this thing all over tarnation and back then I'm gonna pine away for another REO anywhere I please.

DANG IT I need another Grand... :D

I wanna play but I must exercise some restraint so I'm sure to have a good vape at my side for work tomorrow. I was considering a mini 2.1 for my third REO... but it's clear now... #3 will be a second Grand ;)

Not sure what you meant by "doesn't it fit the RM2 size"?

That atty is too large in dia to fit a Reo's drip well. It's just over .6" OD & so is the RM2. The RM2 is a few thou larger but as you know the RM2 has the base turned down to fit the Reo's drip well. This atty doesn't have room for the base to be machined because of the air flow ring. I don't recomend this atty anyway. Mine is working well after tweaking it but as is when purchased it's got issues that needs to be addressed.

I really like 26 awg so far. I never wanted to try it until I saw pdib with all his builds.

seems like it would ohm out higher? i have an 8 wrapper, 1/16, 26g at like almost .7. . where do ya get the time? I would call it edelb-rock.

Sorry, 26 nichrome + very short legs (I was very concerned about ending up with some unbearably high resistance)
