Pics should be there now. I decided to crop the pics in Photoshop after I started writing the post and my session timed out. When I went back to the post and pasted the text back in, it must have displayed the pics straight from my hard drive instead of uploading them. They showed up until I went to another page and were gone when I went back.

I was having ZERO luck with threading 2mm ekowool through my micro coils....used cotton wicks instead.

Just ordered a few feet of 1mm ekowool from lightningvapes.com .... I really missed the durability of the ekowool & thought the flavor was just as good as cotton.

I'll report back when the 1mm arrives.

2mm Ekowool is about the same size as a true micro. 1mm is the size to use for a micro. I thread 1mm into 1/16" - .055" ID micro coils pretty easily. Anything smaller chokes the wick.

so did you read my little perchukalahsia about rolled vs cotton balls? Seems like you're finding some flavor . . . might want to try sterile cotton balls for a few more percentage points in that direction.

Nice coil. Great idea using the carto punch as a stand -- I never considered that

I used an AvidVaper Aero atty on my red/black Grand just to try it out. Worked nice, but I was anxious to wrap a coil for the REOmizer. This works great with 8 wraps of 28g kanthal and cotton wick. Came out to 1.13 ohms. It's much easier to keep the coil/wick wet without flooding on the RBA than the Aero atty.

wound up poking a small 18g hole in the center because the mesh was working too well. Then I decided that it was just really annoying and went back to a single coil build.

I really like the vape from my dual coil build but I can only hit it 2, maybe 3, times before I have to let it cool down.

If you need to hit a dual coil more than 2-3 times before setting it down, it may be time to ween off the nicotine a bit!
