Quick question regarding the Mundys Magic Wire. How many coils of that will safely fit in the RM2. Wrapping on a 17g needle how high a resistance can I expect to get assuming I wanted to get a higher resistance?

I have done 8 turns squeezed and I think 1 or 2 more would fit.
Don't remember exactly but I think the 8 turn on 1.2mm form was around 1.1 or 1.2 ohms.
Heat up time with 8 was too long for me, I like immediate satisfaction which is 6 turns or less squeezed. (on 1.2mm @.8 ohm)
Just guessing I would say around 1.5 ohms with 10 wraps on 17 gauge needle.
Let me know how close my guess was.

Not looking to go that high but was concerned with being too low and not being able to get out of a real low sub-ohm spot. Didn't want to make a bunch of wire if I wouldn't use it. I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks again.

Back to being drill-less for now, so I tried to do something with the r41 I twisted yesterday while I had the drill. 6/7 wrap on 1/16th. .5ohms.

I know this isn't a Reo, but this build was fun! 28 gauge came out to 1.2ohm.

Got my new magnifier head set today. Built a couple of rba's. Was really worried it wouldn't work with my specs. Goes form 1x to 10x. Fantastic is all I can say. Even had a led light on it. Under $15. From eBay. Yep it's made cheap. But it works!!!!!!!!!!
I think I purchased the exact same one couple of weeks ago. Definitely helps!

Well, can't catch up with my cousin for a lens to rake pics with, but scrapped the funnel shaped coil after trying the Mundys Magic Wire. I think I made it right as it looks exactly like everybody's photos and Vape to a whole new level. Flavor like I've never had before. Wrapped about 5-6 wraps and got .8 ohms and its sweet. Hard to squeeze coils together though, otherwise definitely enjoyable. Thanks for the pointers and research Alexander, kudos to you.

i tried the ebayzon magnifier and found it annoying.
now i use a much brighter headlamp from HF which might be this one, plus a pair of 8X reading glasses from some website that Scott (Sterno) turned me onto.
