I wonder. Since the coils are so small and tight, they hold juice by surface tension. Do we need a wick? If we squonk every hit or every other hit, can we get rid of wicks completely?

I have been asking myself the same question, yet I haven't pulled my wick - yet :). I'm gonna do it right now and report back....

Oh good god does that taste horrible. Like a dry hit with a side of flooding. Maybe because my coil is sparse. If all the loops are touching, this might still work. Super_X, do you feel like yanking a wick out and trying it?

Yep, you need one, unless you want to squonk liberally after every hit. It dries out the coil before you are done hitting if you take a long pull. There, got that out of my mind now. Here's bob with the weather...:)

You're too fast. And I was already starting to write my nobel prize acceptance speech

As in Fetisov. Likewise Sergey :).

You might be thinking of Fedorov from Red Wings. Fetisov from the original Red Army Club is Slava :) But, I'm ashamed to admit, I never made it past the parking lot roller hockey. I'll have to find a picture of me in a hockey helmet, in the middle of a game, with a cigarette

Correct you are! Damn I'm getting old. We (Florida panthers) got the Russian Rocket back in the day and we were stoked. Turns out it was just after his prime? i think radek divorak might also be Russian? my memory sucks :). Nice to see another fan on here. I'm pulling for Boston and Chicago. My hockey skills are right about where yours are too :). Probably worse.

Hello all, can't stay long. Jusr popped in to make this observation; recieved my 28 gauge Kanthal today, making 8- 9 wrap coils coming in at 1.4 to 1.6 ohms. Seem to work well on mini's (and yes Drifter, the RM2.0's are officially making truck now :vapor:)

The RM2 is a sturdy, dependable atty. very similar to the device it sits on :). Rba'ing looks a whole lot more difficult (before ya try it) than it is right?

Two or three months ago I said to myself, I'm never going to do that. Those people doing it must be highly technically advanced. That's way above me. My 1.7s work just fine.

Man was I wrong. It's easier than filling a carto, a whole lot more fun and way more rewarding. :)

RBAing actually is difficult, with some atomizers. But so far with RM2, no matter what coil I make, they work. Some better than others, but all seem to work pretty well.

Until I built those ribbon coils, I have never had a bad build. Those dry, wick less hits yesterday were pretty hardcore, but putting a wick in cured that.

It's just so intuitive and easy to RB a's. IMO. And I have no patience either. :)
