I just finished watching. I too would rather see Louis than Nico. Nico rubs me the wrong way. Good for you on your wager to :)

Yes, the Alonso and Vettel battle was spectacular. Real racing there. That penalty really hurt Fernando - I'm guessing he would have made 3rd if no penalty.

That crash was scary. It's amazing with all that carnage to the car that Kimi was ok.

I saw a rumor that Ross may return to Ferrari ?

Yeah, I was panicking a bit about my bet after quali. But when Rosberg got the DNF and Lewis took 1st, I nearly blew the windows out cheering  I put £5 on Hamilton to win the Championship after that race :D

I heard one report that Kimi was pulling something crazy like 47g at the crash, bloody amazing that he walked away :)

Not heard the rumour about Ross coming back to Ferrari, wouldn't surprise me though, he's been in the background since leaving. Plus the new head of Ferrari is supposed to be a bit radical in his business views, so you never know.

There were loads of rumours flying around about the new investors in Caterham too - some people thought Bernie might be in on the deal. Whoever they are, they saved the team for the rest of the season.

Not really fans of either Merc drivers but I was glad Hamilton closed the gap. At least there will be some excitement even if we know it's one of those 2 who will win the championship.

Best part of the race for me though was the Vettel and Alonso battle while Hobbs commentates lol.

Yes it's great when the battle for 5th place gets more continuous film coverage than anything else in the race :) it was an epic battle and Vettel complaining was funny. He eventually settled down "there's another one".

Alonso drove that sorry ayuss Ferrari (sucks to say that) well past it's limits :) he is one hell of a pilot. :)

Great driving by Hamilton to go from 21st (?) to 3rd after crashing in Quali. Although, he is in the best car this season. Reminded me of Vettel when redbull was the dominant car.

Great battle between Alonso and Ricciardo for that 5th position. No radio chatter this time lol.

And... not again! But he did help Fernando move up a few spots again :D

I found that race to be one if the more boring races of the season so far, with the following exceptions, all noted by player one above.

Massa's crash

Hamilton (how the hell did he do that) finishing on the podium.

Alonso / Ricciardo dual.

Equally amazing is that Williams went ahead of Ferrari in constructors I thought I saw? I was falling asleep and not sure I read it correctly.

Also nice to see the FRIC gone - I guess :)

Hopefully my team does better this week.

Anyone else heard that Ross may be returning to Ferrari?

That drift after the pass was sick. Yes that was great racing. Honda baby.

Yesterday's race had some great moments and a finish that actually had me on the edge of my seat.

Lewis, again, from dead AYuss last to third is remarkable.

Great day for Ferrari :). Maybe in spa they can shine.

It was nice to see Kimi getting after it too :)

I have been away in Liverpool since Friday so I followed the race via written commentary on my i-phone.

It read like a fantastic race.

Excellent result for Lewis. He rescued himself from a potential 39 point deficit to 11. :) Something he used to do even when he was 8 years old.

Spa next. A truly old school racing drivers track.
