Thanks, Dale. Will take mine black, but do like the idea of a stirling silver spoon in a mug. Nice touch! :) t

Kayte, just had a whopper of a rainstorm early this morning. Now must go out and trim back branches of red bud tree overlaying the bannister of our deck......which is 20" up! We do have a "wet weather" creek in back yard that you can hear rushing water runoff after a storm, but it's not the same as an "all weather" creek/stream. Living out in the "boonies" can bring its challenges, but the repair/up-keep/renovation of a house is on-going and everlasting no matter where it's located! You certainly are blessed with wonderful views to compensate for all the hard work. :)

G'morning, Sparkle and all you Mountaineers! Ms.C, 4 hrs up and 4 down is a good activity ratio. :) Angel, I always wondered how I could be "pooped" after a restful sluggy weekend!......Working may have something to do with it. LOL

It was storming here this morning too and I had an even harder time getting going. So I worked at home this morning and in the office this afternoon with a little time lying down in between. We're having dinner ala Chili's takeout and I actually drank a glass of wine. Yep, I'm improving!!

So, how are some of you doing with your DIY efforts. I still need to start and get some supplies. But Nicoticket is having another 50% sale this Thursday and I'll buy more jooooose. I think I'm making the DIY thing a lot harder than it actually is. Like nicotine for example. What's a reasonable amount to buy and freeze in 30 ml bottles??

Good morning all! :) Dale, that is the cutest picture.....How fast can that "dude" go on that thing? LOL

Ms.C, good you've reached a point of a little wine therapy. Progress is being made! Ha! As far as juice making goes, I'm mostly storing nic in the freezer. Insurance. Have tried making juice without flavor which was not bad at all, and juice with one flavor (pineapple) in it. Harsh at first, but as it got older tasted much better. Steeping is going be required for sure! I've made another 10 ml sample of juice with orange cream. A week's steep is done tomorrow and will try. Am starting simple to find something simple to make and like. One step at a time for simple me!

I bought a liter(1,000 mls) of 100 nic in 100% PG from MyFreedomSmokes. Stored in 4 oz bottles (7 filled) with poly seal cone caps. Had enough left over for 2 30 ml bottles which which I also got cone caps for. Since pg, vg and flavors will be gotten easily, only purchased a small bit of them to practice. I gave myself a generous amount of useage per day (15ml) at 3 nic which works out to be 1/2 ml per 15ml bottle. The liter should last 5-5 1/2 yrs IF I vape 15 mls a day and never sit my mod down! LOL

That's what I'm doing so far. More than likely I've messed up somewhere, Ms.C, and you can get some good advice on the DIY thread.......But I have started after dragging my feet for too long. Just bought 3 bottles of juice yesterday from a favorite B&M and a Kanger Subtank mini with the rebuildable deck......More "insurance"! :)

Morning all...I am beyond dragging today...hardly got any sleep last night because when I got home I discovered my heater on my waterbed had gone out! NOT NICE!:-x...Despite being wrapped like a burrito in several blankets, the cold just kept seeping through...was not a fun night at all! I've ordered a new heater but it won't be here until tomorrow...think I might have to sleep in my recliner tonight!
Urg Angel! We have a waterbed too, and without a heater you wake up feeling like garbaaahge! I have a 4 sheepskin blanket that works tho. Lay it on top of the bed and sleep on it instead of under it. Nuthin gets through that sucker. :p

Buur..Frozen Slugs can't be a good thing...You just need to butter the floor and wrap up in a sleeping bag my love! hehehehe
Bwahahaha! No - frozen is not good.

Guess who got in on the 15 mill gift fest? And guess what my first choice of gift was??? MHM drip tip. Yep. You betcha.
*now gotta wait and see if I get my first pic...fingers crossed!

Hi all good to hear you are all doing well and keeping busy with life and vaping of course. Mrs C you sound like you need a lot of TLC as well as giving some to yourself! xxxxxx

Being a novice I was hoping all you fine knowledgeable experts may be able to give some advice. I realize many vapers are becoming nervous about the future of vaping and anything that makes it truly prohibitive Do you all think it is a good idea to purchase certain things like nicotine liquid, pg, vg, and flavourings in case there comes the time when making juice will be the only way to enjoy a vape? I appreciate there is an art to making it safely and would not jump into it without doing a lot of reading first

I love all your wonderful mods and tips and the passion you all have for it all. It is such fun to drop in like this, just wish I had more time. My OH and I are really enjoying the tips Doug and Kayte have created. The auction tips were heavenly and I wish I could have bought more than one , although the one I did buy is a stunner delighted to have it coming. Pity postage has gone up so much to Europe!!!! Guess in the scheme of things its just doable and they are so irrisitable those tips!

Have a good day and a lovely evening everyone. Give your dogs a big fat hug from me!!!

Kayte and Doug as always thank you for all the beautiful work. Your home sounds like a dream to me!

loads of love and hugs

Got Seaside (clay on Walnut) today! It's at the low end of my tall requirements (1 7/16") and shaped just right to look spectacular on either my mini ProTanks or the larger ones. It's a predominantly lagoon blue design with touches of black, white, green, red and a teeny bit of yellow and tan where the design came together to make what looks to be a butterfly! Ha! Always try out any wood tips on the bronze ProVari first and the tip on a blue glass works very well. Do believe hubbs could use this setup sporting one of his Hawaiian shirts. Haven't tried yet, but think it would be complemented with the blue SharkSkin too. Kayte, unless someone beats me to it, I will grab some more! :w00t: Lovely, lovely tips these clay on wood.

Okay, you all know how I feel about the MVP's since it was my very first mod/ecig. Why, I've bought several of the 2.5's when on sale and just did buy the 20 watt in a great sale (white and green) a few weeks ago. Just "nutso" about my "first love". Well, you also know that I met George Xia and Paul Hare of Innokin last Oct. at the VCCTN and how I had to "gush" my enthusiasm about their product and thank them for helping me quit smoking. Apparently, they remembered and I got a couple of days ago a blue Cool Fire 4 in.:hubba: Wowzer! It's a bit shorter than the MVP and as wide. The "hand fit" is super and the styling is classy. Kayte, the Seaside looks wonderful on it. Anyway, I am enjoying the heck out of this excellent surprise. It did come from the "first run" which has the rattly up/down buttons......but it was a gift and I don't go around shaking my mods! :p .......They like have six colors.....even PURPLE!

Hi all, just popping in quick before running out to the post office to whisk away the last woody to it's new home. I was supposed to do so yesterday, but we had a setback with George. He has stopped eating...so I spent all afternoon at the vets with him. It turns out he has whip worms. We expected a few bumps in the road. MommaB says it kind of explains why he has not gained too much weight. In fact he lost all he had gained. So back to trying to fatten him up once he feels better.
Congrats on the win PBX!
Congrats on the gift chooch!
Hope Mrs. C and everyone is feeling well.
And have a great day!
XOXOXOX

I had wanted to say 'good morning' but it's too late for that! Hi everyone!

Chooch - what a terrific surprise gift!!! Congratulations!
And I'm happy that you're enjoying the clay on wood! I have one sitting on my work table waiting ever so patiently for the clay work. :D

Nadia - I've been pondering stocking up on nic myself. I just have had no desire to make my own juice and with small grandchildren around now and then, it does concern me to have high nic levels here. (It infuriates me that I may be forced into having it here!) From what I've read, the fda may well go after all the great flavors and force suppliers to only sell tobacco flavors. I'm wondering though if they'll be able to sell unflavored at our desired nic and pg/vg levels and then we can just add our own flavoring. That I could totally deal with (if someone can tell me how many drops of this and that flavor to add!) and I don't see how they could justify banning unflavored when it certainly couldn't fall under their 'for the children' tactic.

I believe nicotine is the only thing they can legally do anything about. Pg, Vg and flavorings are used for way too many other things and is outside their control. We should always be able to get those items, so no need to stock up on them. (If anyone thinks I'm wrong, speak up!)

KS - Sorry to hear that George has the worm issue, but sounds like he'll be feeling better in no time and can get some weight put on.

Doug didn't get to work yesterday. Our daughter in law and grandchildren came up to plant watermelon and visit.
She took a few photos while she was here. Daisies in full bloom and some progress on 'the shire'. ;) (Can't wait for all the ground cover plants to actually cover the ground. lol)

Aw-w-w-w, look at that darling shire! :) Kayte, NOW I have a really good reason to diet! Ha! Some people store long term their nicotine liquid in baggies, then in a lock box, then in a freezer. Calculations and other helpful information can be gotten at EcigVape.com.

Pbx, congratulations and what a great pick! Please give us a look when you receive it......you know how we are. :)

Nadiam, I'm with Kayte on putting by some nicotine and the other stuff will be had easily in worse case scenario. Also, am just "dabbling" with it a bit now so I'm not completely lost when "hammer" comes down. Don't want to be caught in a "crunch" when everybody else is trying to order nicotine in a panic. Even if I don't use the nicotine, $40 for a liter is cheap insurance. A lot of people have weened themselves down to 0 in a year or less. Figured I could do it in five. LOL
