So sorry to hear Doug is having back problems. They're the worst! Hope he is on the mend real soon! We've had our share of that here too although not lately. I kept reminding myself all day not to lift any office stuff. I have a ruptured disc in my neck and did it a couple years ago yanking office furniture around.

John - congratulations on the twins. That's so exciting for you and can't wait to see pictures after they've made their entrance into this world.

I received The Farmer today. I stuck it on my copper vein Reo, fully expecting it would not match but there's enough of a bronze color in there, it actually works. My sister just lost her gift. LOL. I need another.

omg jwraps makes stands for the istick? !!!!!!!

I only had a small issue with the cup holder, and notified jwrap about it. The top edges of the cutouts were knife like sharp, so I gently filed down the edges, and cleaned up with a sharp knife, so the edges are rounded off a bit. Could use an emery board I guess.

Was it a one month wait on the stand? I ordered one back when I got my cloupor and waited that long before it shipped. Hoping they actually have them in stock, cause I just ordered one =)

Yes - double of everything - cribs, outfits, diapers... 1 month to go. I'll post pics sometime after I get the hang of things, and get used to my new sleep (or lack thereof) schedule! :)
Can't wait to see the pics. Hope the babies are good sleepers and everything settles into a nice routine quickly. So exciting! Are they your first?
Hubbs learned the "tuck and roll" from watching an old movie about the 101 Airborne. The doc was amazed he didn't have more damage. He was 70 yrs at the time. :D

Hubbs prefers the floor when there is an episode even tho we have super firm beds. They still have too much give. One time our oldest was on the highschool homecoming float committee. Hubbs was on the floor with pillow and blanket when they came over for a meeting. They tipped toed around him to get to the livingroom. She still remembers THAT event. That involved two slipped discs. Each going in the opposite direction. Three days on the floor taking muscle relaxer and pain pill which made him sleep.

Just have Doug do those exercises, lift with his legs, and wear a back brace when doing heavy labor. Can be a pain in the bu--, not not near as painful as in the back. :p
That made me feel so much better about leaving Doug on the floor the other night. We had to decide between calling paramedics or just leaving him on the floor and hoping it would get better enough that he could get up 'eventually'. I felt soooo bad leaving him on the floor. We finally fell asleep at about 3am. At 5:00 he woke up and was able to get up and move to the couch. WHEW!
I scored some ibuprofen and a heating pad so we're pretty well set now I think. He's doing MUCH better. The sciatic has calmed. Now it's just a nasty bad backache. He's still 'down', but not in the severe pain he was in. He's 'doing laps' around the living room every hour. (More fun if it's a sporting event apparently.)
Kayte you may need this girl for a couple of days..lol

 YES! I need her!

Woot, my tip arrived!!! Kayte, I don't like to correct you, but it IS purple, and a lovely purple at that =) Dark purple is so hard to find with all the silly fuschia in the world. Not to put down the lovely fuschia around the middle of it! Truly a happy holiday tip, it made me smile after a long crummy day when I got to opening vapemail =)

I'm almost out of motrin too...shall I drop some off when I swing out to pick up more? =)
lol Feel free to correct me! I'm so glad you like it! I thought the 'dripping' silver on top made it very holiday'ish!
Having you swing by with motrin would have been lovely! :D
To much to keep up with all you, but hoping the ill ones get to feeling better, and Doug's back. Can't forget Ziggy, happy to hear he's back on his feet better than before. When my sister remarried a long while back, they wanted one more child, guess what, they had twins. Young adults now, boy and girl, and still very close. Congrats to the parents.

From all the posts here I decided to try the nautilus mini's, so happy I did, talk about a nicotine rush even with only 6mg. Just got them going today, so from what I've read flavor will get better when broken in some, though pretty good now. Perfect fit for the iStick I think, now just need another tip or two.

I really like my mini-nautilus'! YAY that you're enjoying them.
Bright spot in my day yesterday, my silver iStick Eleaf arrived. Such a cute, classy little thing! My purple/silver glitter tip looks wonderful on it. :D

I have a friend that has ruptured discs in his neck. Ouch ouch ouch!!! You take care of yourself!
Don't know whether to be happy for you and the Farmer or sad for your friend.
Oh No! Doug, I hope you feel better soon. Kayte, please don't overdo it.
Thanks so much emmsma!

Doug had gotten 22 tips ready for me to work on, so hopefully today I can get started on them! I don't need to be as much of a helicopter wife today.
He'll have a bunch ready to finish when he's able to get back to work. :)

One of our grandsons is in play with a drama group this evening and I'm really hoping to be able to go see it. If I can get Doug to promise to behave while I'm gone... :sneaky:

Hi all :) Hope everyone is doing well and glad to hear that Doug is on the mend Kayte :) Back pain can really put the brakes on things. He will be good as new b4 you know it with your good nursing care.

Got my beautiful sparkly Christmassy tips and a wooden to boot in this week. Will try and post some pics later. They are all just stunning!!! The little istick also came in and it is just the cutest little thing!!! I had a tip that went perfect. I slapped a Nautilus on it and it's bigger than the mod itself! LOL Thought that I would give it a good test run before taking it on our trip. I think it's going to be perfect. Between that and the itaste vv3, they won't take up much room in my luggage. I always travel light when flying. ;)

Well TTFN-going to try a nap. Have really been dragging lately and just can't seem to get my energy level up. Not sure what's going on but it will pass ;)
