I think it will be worth the wait Tom. I have a question for you since I'm not an electronics expert, how hard is it to employ a booster on a mod like this? Would it require a bigger space or be much more expensive? I have heard two opposing views from different modders-one loves it and the other one doesn't care for it. Is it worth it?

To be honest I have no idea what it would take to change this thing, or whether one is better or not. I really am not an electronic expert. I can tell you that if you did amplify the voltage> using a transistor would be the smallest and most power efficient method> the other way uses windings/coils of wire to step up and step down power. I am lucky that this thing works so well. The reason you would even want to is to use the 18650 size batteries right? This baby still seems to have plenty of power after 5 hours at 1500mah. If it gives you a whole day of vape anyway who cares?

I just ordered 4 of the AW 123's you recommend and it stated 9 hours of vaping time! That's pretty good.

I am uploadin' this mo fo up in this peice yeeah!

Keep in mind this is the first time I have ever tested the limits myself! I impressed myself with the capabilities of the design. The atty burned my finger yet the power supply isn't even hot. awesome. That and the batteries are on hour five of hard vapin. Cool

At one point I said 1.5 amps but I meant 1.5 ohm rated atty sorry.

It turns out that 5 volts / 1.5ohms is 3.33 amperes and 16.65 watts which is double what many people normally do.

PS dont be a dirty lurker.....a dirt lurker. I don't know why I said that I just thought it was funny.

awesume Tom! it comes with a screwdriver, bits and your fat head? lol

morning all monkey lovers;Tom,on the vv in the area where the screwdriver tip hangs out,is there room enough to mount a small spring clip and carry a "spare" atty on board? I know......just thought I'd axe ya

It looks like there's plenty of room in there but I don't know if it would affect anything in there being metal and with all those electronics in there. Don't want to short out anything.
