My boyfriend's grandma only vapes menthol.
A couple of days ago we went up there to fix her computer and I had Calipitter Chow in my tank. I offered for her to taste it and she was like, "well the only thing I'll vape is menthol so I don't know"
I shoved it in her face and had her try it.
her response, "OH!!! what is this??" She really liked it a lot!! thanks mom and pop

Today is the last day for the August contest game. Deadline is (approximately) midnight tonight, GMT/UT/Zulu -4 (however it will be open until the thread is physically closed, so if you get on later than that and it's still open you're good to go).

I am very sorry about this, but I am having a conflux of hardware and "social" issues (unrelated to each other) that will end up delaying the beginning of the September contest. I should have the thread reopened and the new contest started by sometime this afternoon or evening (at the latest).

Okay. The wife had a friend fly up from Texas for the weekend, then he got an email from the airline late Saturday afternoon that he had to go to the airport a day early--his flight was leaving on Sunday instead of Monday. I was also dealing with migrating a TB hard drive over the course of Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Then, 10 minutes before his flight left (he was already on the plane) they announced it had been cancelled and that everyone would have to wait until the next flight (on Monday, the one he was supposed to take in the first place). Of course having already turned in the rental car, he had to rent a new one for the hour drive back to our house. (And I am still migrating the drive, though to be fair it's a different drive I'm migrating "back" to the old one).
I have gathered the entries now (mostly, see below) and am currently working on the new contest rules/link/thread reopening hoopla, and that will happen shortly. I apologize for the delay, but I am unreliable enough that it has been worse before...
@l_strider_l: I cannot get the picture in your first entry to show up, no matter what I do. My usual "fix" for this is to reply with quote and then use the link that shows up in the quote to go directly to the serving web page, but even doing this resolves to a web-page that displays nothing on my screen. There seems to be a facebook logo as the favicon so I don't know if it's being served from facebook or not (I don't book my face so they refuse to show me a lot of stuff from their site), but even viewing the page source only shows me the address itself as the page contents Since I will not be able to print the entries out for use in determining the winner until I go back to work, I'll see if it shoes up there. Didn't have a problem with any of your other pics/entries.
