For christmas this year, I am thankful for my MVP 2.0s.
I bought new eleaf Lemos earlier this year, plannign on using them on my mechanicals. That plan did not go as planned, I ended up rebuilding the Lemos to 1.1-1.2ohms so I could use them on my MVPs, because of its incredible battery life. The mechanicals fired the Lemos just fine, but I found that with the great taste and plumage, I was chain vaping them. and the mechanical batteries could not stand the test of time.

Vaping Cheap just emailed a flyer for the two vendors mentioned Vapor Beast and 101vapes with 10% mark down off of the $35.95 at Vapor Beast when using the link off of the page with the discount code provided. iTaste MVP 20W

I went ahead an ordered the MVP20 in green on the 23rd from VaporBeast with the code SNOW (good until Jan 1st) it came to $35.95 that includes free shipping anything $35 and over is free shipping. Haven't gotten it yet. Yet I will admit I'm getting very excited for it to get here.

Now I am one to wait on buying a new release product until after the what goes wrong (faulty) is fixes. But owning the MVP2 knowing it's dependable for me plus I just gave my backup batteries to my son and his girlfriend, leaving me only my MPV2 I needed at least another one for backup right?

Ohhhhhh you guys! Must resist buy button must resis...............

Well guys, got the iStick for Xmas today... Other than the extra 9 watts, the MVP 2 is without a doubt a superior product... I did use an Xmas gift card to order a Lemo Drop from elev8 today...

I have two iSticks here along with the MVP which has already proven itself as the more durable product. Innokin doesn't put out much garbage to start with while the iStick here at least hasn't ended being as worrysome as the SMOK Groove II did when DOAing on me a bit too soon.

Rather then the 20w version at this time however and besides the pair of 20w iSticks the E-LVT 2.0 30w will be in later finally as well as having order the Vamo V6 20w APV, the Vamo Fire wood body version 20w, the SMOK BEC Pro 50w APV, and then ZNA 50w with one more ECig V9 50w mod soon to be shipped that just came out. I think I have the bases covered with the MVP 2.0, VTR, and four iTaste VV v3s still in use!

Just go easy and sort of turn the tank counterclockwise a good half turn to allow the feel of the threads if not adding the 510/eGo adapter on since there has been complaints about the threading on the iSticks being stripped out. I think some being too anxious to rush to get a tank is the likely reason however. Haste makes Waste as they say.

After stalking the elev8vape site for weeks, I managed to get one of the DNA 30 enclosures ordered. Man, they go fast. I had 4 in my cart but, by the time I filled out the forms, 3 of them were out of stock.

For some reason, USPS tracking showed the "Shipping Label Created" for about a week. I emailed elev8vape to ask them why. The next day the status changed so I knew it was on it's way. I got it today.

Put a Samsung 25R in it and an RDA on it and it fired right up. Yippee!

I haven't found anything wrong with it yet. The case is perfect. My Samsung was kinda low on charge so it's plugged in right now.

Thanks to KTMRider for the heads up on this deal:toast:

Edited; Meant to say enclosures instead of clones.

The prices on those clones seem pretty good. It's no wonder they're flying of the shelves.

Not everything is a clone but often simply marked down in price to sell. The vendors that want to draw in the volume business will offer the best prices on the hot sellers simply to compete with each other as well as draw in the business during the holiday shopping period. For the ZNA 50 I found for $75 on sale from $99 is generally seen for $119.95 more or less depending where you go and solid black compared to black and pink or black and stiainless at another and came in a box marked ZEN not ZNA 50 but simply repackaged to sell for less.

Sweet-Vapes carries eGo-V V3 batteries in plain boxes for $29.99 when everyone else wants $35-40 for the same in SLB brand boxes. The smart 20 is the iStick sold under a different brand not a clone. Innokin however so far at least only markets their stuff under Innokin or Innokin iTaste such as the MVP 20W now seen or the new VV v4.0 version of the 800mah battery. The DovPo E-LVT 2.0 ordered just arrived is brown while most places only see it in light blue or grey. It's no clone with the factory QC ticket included.

so I hope the last couple days were jolly for all

- - -

ahhhhh the year of VAPing ~ “2014”

a lot of accomplishments for me…
I now consider myself pretty darn good (at what I do) with vaping
I am very pleased and satisfied with vaping and the quality in which I do it...

all my coils I use have been paid for over & over, and over again with re-use
(pondering what it would be to purchase as many coils as I now use)
I use and prefer cotton yarn (360 ft @ a buck & a ½) dirt cheap and SUPER
consistent… & buying bulk kanthal wire is ridiculously cheap !
the simplicity and control to just whip up a coil of my desire – well just rules
and my simple and cheap topper tanks I put the coils in, work like a skilled instrument...

all sitting on top of my simple & cheap MVP (life is good)

win win ; I am a forever VAPOR`er now…

thanx 2014 !

Easy Sparky, we still have almost a week to NYD.

I thought by now I would be done vaping but I don't see myself off of nicotine for a while yet.

:) :) ^

a week, heck in a week it will be next year...

guess I just feel in a reminiscing mood after a bizzy hitch

I am surely enjoying vaping and see no end anytime soon
(still rockin' 24mg)

That is not your imagination. You are indeed getting a smoother vape then you could have gotten off of the Stick. The Stick uses Pulse Width Modulation that controls voltage by pulsing the electricity to create the set voltage. This creates a pulsing or what is known as the rattlesnake effect. This sensation is most noticeable at lower (<4.1V) stettings. The MVP uses circuitry that creates a near continuous output of the proper voltage. This creates a much smoother vape. I will never own another rattle snake device.

IMO one of the big advantages of the new MVP 20watt and the SVD 2.0 is step down. Not all of us vape a low ohm coil at medium-high watts all day. Its nice to have a device that can handle a 1.7ohm carto accurately and still drive a Nautilus well into its sweet spot. My MVP 2.0 was just fine with carto but rather lack luster with some toppers.

I use a variety of toppers and the MVP 20watt fell just a tiny bit short of my requirements for a new device. I may still get one if any of my friends want a MVP v1.5 or v2. I like to break in my cartos at the lowest setting possible and the spring loaded 510 is a big improvement.

so am i understanding this correctly that the mvp20w runs in rms mode? i got an istick couple weeks ago and dont care for it. looking to get my first mvp :D

I thought by now I would be done vaping but I don't see myself off of nicotine for a while yet.

I was off of nicotine entirely once a new vendor was going last March where we had discussed not noticing any effect with or without nicotine present except for the slight differences noticed with flavors and how they vaped at times. With the nicotine tending to vape warmer at the same setting you could pick up on the taste changing when having the exact same flavor with and without to take notes.Later when ordering from a new vendor I hit the 18mg option since the vendor had the none at the bottom while everyone else generally has the none at the top. When ordering the second of same even that didn't see much taste difference since it was a Dark Roast Coffee flavor to begin with being a bit dominant.

You lucky somebody you!! I haven't even been quite able to leave the doggone cigarettes alone totally yet, much less give up nicotine. (She says as she furiously puffs on her vape through a nicotine craving)

I will probably order an MVP20 soon as I like my MVP2. Long lasting battery built like a tank, and they seem to have corrected my only complaint about it with a spring loaded center pin.

Rotowoman I lived in the Greater New Orleans area until Katrina. Where in Louisiana are you located?
(just curious)

hi ingerri, welcome...

sorta speaking over my pay grade, but :

some devices use - pulse width modulation (PWM) - to deliver power
by pulsing (on/off) is how it achieves the vw setting
(PWM) is measured in two ways
•MEAN
•RMS
the MVP doesn’t use pulse width modulation (it is a steady, regulated measured signal)
this is how I read up about it (so can’t say for positive) best I got :D
