what I’ve been affectionately calling it the “INE” buzz for better than 30 yrs
I have seen many people around me affected by lack of “INE”
caffeine & nicotine has a soothing and calming effect – that I’ve seen first hand
that’s what I base my thoughts on, along with my own experience that if
12mg – 18mg was the only available NIC, - I’D STILL BE SMOKING
I have tried to get to a lower NIC level, won’t work for me at this time
happy @ 24mg (for now) and will see where it ends up…

No one is denying either will effect people differently. What I was pointing to is the science as far as how much nicotine is absorbed by comparison. You get about 10 times as much from smoke as you do from vapor. That would be like having one first thing in the morning and then the after dinner smoke compared to going through a full pack a day as far as the absorption rates between the two different sources and then add the weight of whatever else is found in tobacco smoke not found in vapor that interacts with nicotine once in the system.
Here's a new report just out last week on this from the NT Times regarding Big T's efforts to spike up the nic levels in their ecigs realizing the early ecigs failed as smoke free nicotine delivery systems. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/25/business/race-to-deliver-nicotines-punch-with-less-risk.html?_r=0
