Personally, I like the ramblings. Reminds me of myself, from time to time. I second puf's suggestion for a tour of the vape shack. Maybe you'll also explain why you replaced an oscilloscope in the background with a Remington typewriter.

Deflategate: Imagine if someone was caught tampering with a rugby ball and you might have an inkling of what's going on in the world of American Football. Ha!

I wish my shed was that size mate, it's tiny!

Deflategate, I'm terrified to ask lol

 haha I laff

because IT'S THE BIGGEST FREAKING STORY IN US NOW ! (jeez!)

supposedly US NFL football team NE Patriots (allegedly) let some air out of
their game footballs, beyond allowed specs...

I ask just wondering if this ridiculous story has got to your neck of the woods...

guessin' you could care less about the "Super Bowl" ? ? ?

Just got my mvp 20 watt in the mail about 45 minutes ago. This is my first mod after using Vision Spinners for a little over a year.
Wow! Coil is reading 1.7 on an Aspire ET-S BVC. Vaping at 7.5 watts and 4.0 volts. Best $29.95 I've ever spent.

Just can't help myself. Really excited about this.

They really are great tanks. I discovered them about 8 or 9 months ago. Very inexpensive and produce nice clouds and great flavor.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I almost hate to say it, but I am off the mvp train. I went to my local shop the other day with the intent to buy the 20w version and I saw the eleaf istick 30w and bought it. I won't say anything bad about mvp's but I am not gonna be able to go back now.

Trader , very upset now , suffering severe depression over this . The iStick is a mortal enemy of mine , you must leave this forum immediately or serious injury and even death may result .

I don't make the rules but thats what the rules say and everybody must obey them . Take care of yourself and i wish you nothing but headaches with your new Istick .

agree, I got (out of necessity) the ET tanks, then bought
mini vivi nova ‘aluminum tanks’ and installed them and now
I have an almost indestructible topper with bvc
- Mini Vivi Nova Replacement Aluminum Tank
•ego threads (tuffer than 510)
•no drip tip to loose
•no glass or plastic to crack

:p

Noob question (what else) :) My MVP 20 arrived today as well but it does not say anything anywhere about charging the battery. Yes of course I know how to plug it in but is it healthier to let the battery run dead and then charge or is it OK to top it up over night?

for me, as far as charging my MVP :
I follow the practice of “short-charging” my batteries
there is NO memory
team motto: charge soon & charge often
not allowing it to get to low (avoid yellow) when possible
and remove it from charge BEFORE it completes (early 4.1v)
(final saturation of charging puts stress on the battery)
un attended charging ANYTIME is not good (sleeping)
- - - -
Li-Ion does not need to be fully charged, nor is it desirable to do so...
in fact, it is better not to fully charge, because high voltage stresses the battery
every reduction of 0.10v% (charging) is said to double life cycle of battery
-charging the li-ion cell to 4.2v expect 300-500 discharge cycles
-charging the li-ion cell to 4.1v expect 600-1000 discharge cycles
so, charging the battery to 4.1v (not full 4.2v) will double the life of your battery

- - - -
Bonus Usage Tip

-holding both buttons:
-first display is, Coil Ω’s
-second display is, Charge Remaining in internal battery
- - -
single button operation:
>push and hold (top button) "P" for watts control
>push and hold (bottom button) "U" for volts control
-the first display will always be Puff Counter (0-999)
(which actually just counts how many times you push your Fire button)
-second number displayed is the adjustable setting (v or w)
-- it is EITHER volts OR watts, never both
-- 3 clks off / 3 clks on (puff counter resets to "0" each time)
-- MVP memory maintains until you change it

I have never fully discharged mine.

I have gotten it very low tho.

I vape on it while charging a lot and have also charged it overnight.

Really not babying it at all, I expect it to last for at least 8 months to a year.

So you put the mini vivi nova replacement tanks on the ET bases? I'll keep that in mind cuz' I have one ET that the glass is busted on.

That sounds good to me too as I was wondering if I could ever sleep again or go out without the MVP whilst it was on charge.

I'm not saying IT IS THE ONLY WAY

I try to stay as close to that philosophy as possible

but surely it doesn't always happen that way in life

and maybe (maybe) ever so often to 'cue' up the chip to the battery
allow a FULL swing of the charge cycle (dead red to full off green) (3-4months)

my MVP is 18 months old and still a working champ

:)

I:
never charge on computer
never leave it charge alone
don't like (but do) use passthru

And I am glad you explained it the way it SHOULD be done as it did expand my horizon! If you are a total newbie, it is helpful to learn it the correct way and once a matter is better understood, one can come to once own conclusions :)
