Well after 24 hours of using the MVP 20 I can say that I definitely like more watts than my ego's have to offer
but my hands cannot handle the shape/weight :(

Looks like I will have one more item for the classified section.

really sorry to hear that Caprilli

though I don't feel it is a "best value" price wise,
this is a quality very friendly end user device
solid like a rock, comfortable to use, feature rich...

maybe look around and find better prices, but I bet you would love it (or two) :D

- Innokin itaste VV4 VV/VW Simple Kit - 1000mAh

Hi all! First post in the MVP OG thread. Started smoking at 15 1.5+ PAD, and for about the last 10 years that was hand rolled non-filtered!
Bought an eGo starter kit in November of '13, after seeing a co-worker with some kind of mech-mod. (I don't remember what it was) Threw away my last pack of analogs 2 days later. First upgrade was a Kanger PT2. Next was a Gravity twist. sheared the 510 threads off the bottom of one, cracked the tank on another. Since I was at the B&M to replace the tank I bought a VV V3, and an XI tank WOW! what a difference! That one disappeared somewhere, back in July, and I replaced it with the MVP. I kept the IClear 30, that came with it, and got a 30b, (I kind of like the bccs) Got myself a Nautilus for Christmas, and just ordered a 20w from vaporbeast
Don't know if I'll ever use it's full bag of tricks, but with the same size/button config. as what I'm (now) fairly comfortable with I like the flush mount threads, and it was cheaper than the Nautilus tank,
That brings my smoking/vaping history up to date. I'll follow the thread from here, and add my $0.02 when the mood strikes, or the situation calls for it.

Shucks, if I had to pay that much for a V4, I might as well buy a MVP20. After leaving one of my MVP2s behind at work last week, I'm thinking come income tax return time, I may need to invest in just one more MVP.

over a year ago I got three of the four VV V3.0s on Black Friday-Cyber Monday deals. paying under $30 for the express kits and then finally got one full kit for $55- a week or so later. But besides the 6-11w range you contend with the 700mah which won't let you finish anything 2ml or above. But talk about prices the 1000mah V4 for $37-$45 is about right while take a look at what one place wants for the VTR! Innokin iTaste VTR Starter Kit with iClear30s - Sunshine Vape

I got mine last June for only $65 while other places then where I ended up at were also bringing their own down to $75 or so. but without the IClear 30S tank tossed into the mix. I still got it in the carrying case however.

Now as far as the shape of the MVP 2.0 and 20W I've been looking around at a number of mods including getting into some that run from $53-$69.99 while boosting the watts up without any doubt. The 6-20W simply replaces the older 6-11w 2.0 version while you might want to consider the 30w 3.0 while many vendors are still calling the 20W the 3.0.

Now for something even more compact you have the choice of the eGo-V V4 Mega VV/VW 1300mah batteries for the smaller tanks or perhaps the 30w if not 50w iStick many are looking at. The iSticks are rounded on one side with the main button on the opposite for ease while handling. Some bad news on the Cloupor Minis in the other news may make you want to wait a bit before deciding which will work out best for your own needs there.

I feel bad now, I was one of the people that recommended the MPV20W...

But what works for some of course does not work for everybody.

What are you going to look at next?

Yes me too as I like the extra power. I have some lovely ego twist batteries so will not be going with the above but have my eyes on an eCom (not eVic) supreme which has 30 watts on offer. It is still chunky at 19 mm width but I can get my hands around it better. It is the combination of the squareness, the width and the weight, that makes the MVP 20W too much for me. Let me know if anybody needs a backup :)

You address an issue that I feel few consider. I hard a hard time with the size and more the weight of even the cig-a-likes. It is what I needed to start with to transition from a near weightless device to something more cumbersome. The hand to mouth habit is just as important as the nicotine. I hate to say it but even if I started with an Ego size device I may not have quit. I slowly over a year started moving up in size. You have a valid point not only concerning size but weight and shape. You may wish to take a look at the Tesla Fire Phoenix II. 18650 form factor but not huge. 4 voltage settings.

still using the mvp2 but i dont see the mvp3 doing well, theres too much good stuff out there w/a better form factor(its too dam big) and value as the price doesnt justify the watts or size..
i dont want that stupid cord to charge my phone as i want to use my batttery life for vaping and i never used my mvp2 to charge my phone, i have cords and chargers for my phone.
istick 30watts for $40 is my next buy

I think the mvp is a nice piece. Not my favorite but I digress. Size doesn't really matter to me. (yeah, yeah, thats wut she lied about) But as far as charging your phone, I don't see myself ever doing that. Or anything else for that matter. However, I do consider it an emergency device.

Consider this. You're out in the middle of nowhere. Your car blows up. It's 90 below zero. Phone is dead. So you look at your phone. You look at your MVP. Decision time. Vape or die. :)

Sorry you did not like the MVP 20.
Small hands? There is a joke or two there, but I digress and will not go there.

We all sit here wondering about the 3.0 street price. Assuming that the chip is like the 2.0 and is close to Provari perfection, how much more would we pay? If the latest 30-50w xyz brand rattlesnake chip is $40, would we pay $50? Are there sub $50 boxes with good chips?

I am so sure I have read somewhere that the new mvp 3 would be powered by a DNA board. Do I remeber wrong? Anyone who know?

Agreed to all of it. I do have my eyes on a couple of ego style batteries. The eCom Mega and the eCom Supreme have 20 and 30 Watt on offer but come in either 16.5 or 19 mm width! VV and VW mode so all I need really both of them have a passthrough function too. This is really what disturbed me most about my ego style batteries, that I would not have enough backup if we went out for the day whilst two where on charge.........

Assuming it vapes as well as the 2.0, I might pay $50-$60. The $70-$80 that a few sites are taking preorders at is just too high. Hopefully there will be some vendors selling them cheaper, otherwise I'm going to have to take another look at the 30w and 50w isticks and the Sigelei Mini 30w.

There's supposed to be a more expensive version released with a DNA chip at some point.

Well you better hope it doesn't see the DNA chip since there's seems to be a problem with the Cloupor Mini that uses it. The latest on those was some 50 or so catching on fire with a recall in progress. 50 out of some 100,000+ that is.

Any idea when the 30 watt MVP will be in stores?

The actual 3.0 30w is out for vendors to order wholesale. The word on that came in from the Vaping Cheap daily email. So plan at least another week or so about the same time as the 50w iStick is out. The manufacturers like to keep release dates close so no one gets a big lead on the other by having something while they are still waiting!

I guess I'm blessed then. I don't have big hands, but I happen to like the way the MVP2 fits in my hand. It's enough to let me know it's there. It lasts long like I want it to, and I'm just all around pleased with it. Now, if I could find a decent tank, I'd be in vape heaven.

Same here I am of a small bone frame, short person and I don't find the MVP's at all a problem and llike the way it fits in my hand. I do hold it difference in the left hand then I hold it in my right hand.
