Yeah this is definitely not a beginner setup. It has no computer guidance what so ever and it weighs # 250+. The primary mirror alone (the main mirror) costs about 1,000 dollars but....The views are stunning and more than once I've fallen into the proverbial rabbit hole of thought as I peered back in time at the heavens:p. What kind of additional hobbies do you guys have?

It looks like you have a very nice scope.

Ok... so my scope is only about 1/3rd the size of yours... but I do have built-in guidance/tracking and can optionally connect it to the computer for additional control as well as to update/add-to it's internal element sets, etc. Other hobbies are scattered all over the place.

Hobbies? I collect dust.

Ok, mvp2 vs mvp20? For me, mvp2 wins. I like to change from ego style to 510 every once in a while. So flipping the adapter on and off is pretty much a PITA for me. And I run anywhere between 6 and 14w. So essentially the mvp20 is a downgrade for me.

The MVP2 only goes up to 11watts I think...But another weird thing is that I've seen the MVP20 priced cheaper than the MVP2 ....But in the end its all about what works for you....

Now we have a deluge of 2000+ mah boxes with watts from 20-50 with prices about the same as watts. Great to have choices but there are too many. By the time we get some history with these the next generation will come along.

With the ecig market exploding rapidly as more people get wind of vaping everyone is trying to outdo the next with options in smaller packages!

This may help sort out things (for now):

MVP 2 can't do 14 watts.

And 510 threaded tanks fit much better on the MVP20.

I think that the MVP 20 is really an upgrade. I wish I didn't have two working MVP 2s. Can't wait for them to die.

Since you people can't make up my mind, I ordered another Coolfire I for $18 from VaporBeast for the wifey. She uses the first one all day, every day. Sometimes a tube is just the way to go.

Meanwhile I think I'll just keep using my MVPs until they croak and then buy something.

Make sure you get an extension tube for the 18650 battery!

After having the MVP 2.0 for 32days and only charging it 4 times, I upgraded. I now am a very proud owner of the MVP 20W! I love having the option of more power when I decide that it's time to advance further than where I am right now. The 2.0 was my first ever mod and it only took me a day to get use to it. It took me about 2 weeks to figure out the difference between VV and VW, lol! I think I'll buy some meaner tanks now. Maybe an Aspire Nautilus is in my very near future.

welcome to the big deal MVP club :toast:

great to hear you're lovin you some MVP !

suggest to try a Kanger Subtank mini, along with some 1.2Ω O.C.C. coils
and it comes with a RDA (rebuildable) that you can use later when you have a mind to...
