I keep going over these little mod box’s in my mind
so made this little chart to compare…

lil box's.jpg

-the specs of ANY of them go beyond my needs – no issue
-2200mah is smallest battery – seems adequate
-prices are so similar ($40-$60) MSRP – close enuff
(wonder what 101 will come out of the gate with on the MVP 3.0)
so what it boils down to is, QUALITY – DEPENDABILITY
only one I can say for sure is, you guessed it – innokin…
guess there is not really a choice… (for me)

30W / .4Ω / 3800mah / springy SS 510 threads / side fire-trigger
reversible big screen-U.I. looks fantastic / USB side charge
pwr out charge / & of course, a Puff Counter :D

I don’t know what more I would ask for…?
lanyard hole - clock - flashlight ? ?

I’m in NO hurry as far as NEED, but shiny-itis is killin me…

Yes 10 months isn't bad for a disposable device. What's the longest surviving mvp so far.
Anybody got 2 years out of one yet? Shame they don't make it with a serviceable battery.
anyway who's Has lasted the longest.

my MVP is just over 18 months, second one is about a month younger

both still perform wonderful…

I was just a young pup (in vape years) when I got my first MVP
now that I know what I want out of vaping, $40-$50 for a throw away
to last 1½ years + ain't bad - in my book...

:)

Bought a Spartan mini tank yesterday from my B&M. Paired with my new MVP. Aside from the 1. 5 ml juice capacity I have no complaints.
This combination is working really well right now.
Looks pretty slick too, imo.

Almost 2 years, took 8 months off and left it fully charged, and it is still holding 2 day charge when I picked it back up and was still almost fully charged too.

so what it looks like is Innokin / Chinese vendors are getting
what they think is ‘important stock’ out, on the boats and shipping
so there will be a surplus inventory available for sale during their
Chinese New Year celebrations, which is when most production stops...

looks like the MVP 3.0 is part of this shipment, and seems to be
almost ready to arrive on our shores…? (Feb 9th)

subtanks, coils, new box mods, etc. and other hot items included…
so it looks like if you want something, better GET IT ! or wait until
after production resumes (then ships)

good luck – ready, set, go . . .

Yup, basically the same thing every year... they are just finally getting better at it ;)

It's a big enough deal that it goes up on the work calendars each year along with a few other regional/religious holidays.

Do you think I stand any chance of picking one up at a Brick&Mortar shop? I hate to buy something sight unseen. I like to feel it in hand.

Any chance...? Sure! Much of a chance... depends on your B&Ms and how far you are willing to travel ;)

I can say that none of my 'local' B&Ms have them nor do I expect them to for a while... :(

To be fair though... I have no expectation to buy an MVP3... I think I'll sit this one out and wait for an updated version with more features.

Besides,... I have a few new MVP20Ws to wear out first.

My MVP 1 is about 20 months old, I don't think the charge lasts quite as long as when new, but still working.

I'm not 100% sure I'd want a serviceable battery in a device like this.

While it is nice to just change out batteries when they die the pass trough handles this problem well enough for me.

Charge while you Vape

The MVP's are all about convenience, durability and quality and so far that seems to be their selling point.

Of course they are not aimed at the super sub-0hm crowd. I'm ok with that as I don't do that.
I want reliability.

I don't want to worry about batteries charging and carrying spares in my pocket.

I know that with my vaping style I get 2 days from my MVP20W and sometimes 3.

Right tool for the job for me.

Eric
