woowzer an MVP 3.0 / some skins / & drip tips for $58

you did good !

what kinda tank are you gonna be topping with ???

:)

I mainly use Kayfuns...occasionally I will use a Protank that I rebuild myself. If I like it I am going to buy another one for just my carry case. I have a car charger so that way I never have to worry about running outta battery life.

OK sounds like you got it under control
are we talking a full size or mini - Nautilus ?

ya know I have a juice that WON”T take any heat, it befuddled me for a long time
then once figured out, just very low power works...

ONCE burnt (like soup on stove) there’s no fixin’ it
(you’re not transfering USED juice are you ?)

a bad coil will leave the juice in tank tasting bad, yuk !

I think you should get same service life from 1.6 or 1.8Ω
1.6 will be a little HOTTER than 1.8 ( variable should keep it under control)
I think you would like BOTH (1.6/1.8) one of each until you find which you prefer (awful close)

this juice getting fouled, normal burnt situation is why I DON’T like
large capacity tanks – if I use a large capacity tank, I normally don’t fill
it more than 2-2.5ml to avoid “cooking” the juice (I prefer adding fresh)
some people get nuts about refilling (it’s not that big of a deal) IMO

:)

It's a full size Nautilus. I bought some 1.8s from my local B&M today and a 1.6 too, so I'll give it a go.

Makes sense, what you're saying - there was just under enough juice left in the bottle to fill the eGo tank, so I topped it off with what was left in the Nautilus as I hate waste. I didn't know that a bad coil would effect the rest of the juice in the tank though, so thanks for that. I'll bear that in mind about not filling the tank right up though - sound advice.

yeah the 1.6-1.8 are so close,
not like we are talkin 1.4 to 2.2Ω

hate wasting also, but cross-transfering juice is no go in my book…
a dirty and/or burnt coil would be like dipping a cotton swab with
say: gasoline or menthol juice or vinegar down in your tank of juice
and expecting the flavor not to transfer…
your dirty coil is submerged in your tank of fluid

I’ve always been leary about “cooking” juice, I could taste it as I
first started vaping, so I adopted the small capacity theory early on…
not that at rare occasions/times of need (reluctantly) I go for max fill

sounds like a good plan, maybe try substituting a subtank for the kayfun :D
- Subtank Mini 22mm - Kanger Subtank - Kangertech - Clearomizers Tanks
- Kanger Subtank Organic Cotton Coils (OCC) - Kanger Coils - Kangertech - Clearomizers Tanks
- Kanger Subtank RBA Pre-Built Coils - Kanger Coils - Kangertech - Clearomizers Tanks

If that is an MVP 2.0 there hae been problems with the contact pin being pushed down into the unit. THere are fixes if this becomes a problem.

It's not that. It's that the device is not holding a charge like it should. My other MVP will go for two days or more. I'm lucky if I get 8 hours out of this one, and it's barely two months old.

I'll agree & add to what most has said...

there has been MANY references of this strange occurrence
sometimes it seems as tho the control board gets a rouge reading
it does not know for sure what to do with it, and simply shuts down…

coil short / hold fire button too long (time-out) / mistake 3 clk
or if YOU screwed to tight and made MVP center pin push in and short unit…

battery reset is in order by ON/OFF; plugging in & out and repeating

it has been reported successful by several device owners…

I’ve read this happening enuff and owner NEVER had another repeat issue (ever)

if you do have a ‘pushed-in’ center pin tho, repairs will be needed (your fault)

good luck

Who knows, Puf? I never screw my tanks in too tight. I learned that when I first started vaping. I just started vaping on it again a few minutes ago. I'm timing it to see how long the charge will last

I would try a full battery drain

hook a USB to the OUTPUT port

and charge something to deplete battery...

then vape it till the red light flashes

and the internal chip turns unit off...

then a full charge until the green light goes off

the internal safety will protect from harm...

Do you use BDC or BVC coils?

At around 8W the BDC 1.6ohm coils do not last me more than 3-4 days.

I just ordered some 1.6ohm BVC coils and hope they will last longer.

I received BDC's with my Nauty's. After I ordered a pack of BVC's...I threw all the BDC's in the trash.

The BVC's "like" higher Watts (I enjoy mine at 10-12Watts), last (at least) twice as long as the BDC's...and give MUCH BETTER taste and TH.

For me...the Aspire Nautilus BVC's were the first coils to give me as much (or more) "smoke" as I had become accustomed to with my (previously) beloved analogs!!!

Got the Gs Air from FT today. Love the Nautilus Mini - but in some ways this is even better.

Yes, it looks better on an iStick.

Yes - imho - it vapes better - and it's an awful lot cheaper!

See a lot of raves about the GS Air. But have held off buying one because of it's 2.5ml. capacity.

Hoping that when the "M" and "MS" become available they'll have bigger capacities.

on a sad note; a guy that has been giving us the “V” for vape
for a very long time has passed today…

a tip of the MVP to Mr Leonard Nimoy, 83 (March 26, 1931 – February 27, 2015)

Puf...you've helped me out multiple times re: "tanks that take Kanger T3S coils"...

The Anyvape CeroTank V2 is compatible with "Kanger BDC dual coils and Aspire (NON-Nautilus) BDC/BVC coils".

Is the T3S coil a "BDC dual coil"?

Description: Anyvape CeroTank AirFlow Glassomizer | Shenzhen Anyvape Technology Limited

$19.99...Since ECF doesn't "allow" ebay links...just Search on ebay for "Anyvape CeroTank V2" or "litebreeze"

OR...how about the Anyvape Peakomizer. Does it appear (to you) to take the T3S coils???

Description: http://www.anyvape.com/peakomizer

$29.95...https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/any...ent=Subscriber#4231&utm_campaign=11-15-14-NEW

the T3S coil is a SINGLE coil (not bdc)

only difference between the T3S & bcc coil is the “flange plate”
T3S coil vs bcc coil 1.jpg

there is a ‘lip’ inside the T3S tank which requires the smaller diameter flange...

early on I discovered this and the smaller T3S coil fit in all my EVODs/Protanks
so I only bought T3S coils (evod coil WON’T fit in a T3S tank)

:)

note: do not confuse the newer T3'D (bdc)
against the old T3S (bcc)
jus sayin'

ya know I ‘noticed’ those anyvapes toppers and just
kinda glanced and moved on...

seems taking hints from the kanger UNI tank (top fill)
then of course the “DAVIDE” put them on the map (which is a copy of ProTank)

looks like the CERO uses (2) coils aspire bdc/bvc and kangers bdc (not bcc)

but the ‘peak-o-mizer’ has a spring loaded center pin (again uni tank) that
will allow (3) coil designs - kanger bcc, bdc and aspire bdc/bvc

if you line all the coils up, they look like this (I’m making up the acutal numbers)
-kanger bcc single 2mm height
-kanger bdc dual 4mm height
-aspire bdc/bvc 6mm height
so not close, but THREE different coil height dimensions...

guess the ‘spring loaded’ do-dad allows top fill and universal coil fitment
from my experience with the unitank, anything similair SCARES me
and then the price !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (who they kidding)

- Anyvape Peakomizer Kit SR036 - Stainless

- AnyVape Davide Glassomizer
- Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Mega V2

------------------------------

single coil baby ! that’s where it’s at ! (super simplicity)
capacity / air flow / glass / dis-assemble / drip tip / (& rebuildable)
- Kanger SubTank Mini
- Subtank Mini 22mm - Kanger Subtank - Kangertech - Clearomizers Tanks
- Subtank Nano 18.5mm - Kanger Subtank - Kangertech - Clearomizers Tanks
- Kanger Subtank Organic Cotton Coils (OCC)

Yes, very sad about Leonard Nimoy. My Belgian Tervuren "Spock" passed away in December. So I figure Spock beamed up to meet Spock at the Great Rainbow Starship in the Sky.
They both lived long and prospered.
They say Leonard Nimoy died of COPD, and he quit smoking 30 years ago.

I had to look up Tervuren (didn't know what it was)

sorry to hear :(
