I wish for something like that from Innokin, reading up to .5 ohms. Happens to me with rba, getting the exact over 1 ohm build is a lot of guessing... Even using a calculator. I do my coils directly on silica the old fashioned way.

Meaning, wait for more of these tiny mods to show up in the next months...

:w00t:

so what has got my interest – you ask
ok I’ll tell ya (since ya asked)
these new BVC mini’s – not the big BVC for the nautilus & naut mini,
but the ones coming out from Aspire for their old bdc replacement
bottom single vertical coil in a:
Aspire - CE5-S, CE5, MAXI, Nova, ET, ET-S etc. clearos
if they get the good pub that the other has, it sounds like a good thing…
- Aspire BVC Series Replaceable Coil 5 piece [8201V] - $10.00 : Aspire online shopping
wonder how it will be for re building… ? ?

These are compatible with the old clearos, I have a Davide. Rebuilding is not good, the seal on top is really tight and you have to put everything from the bottom...

man i got a little story to share today, went to a local B&M this afternoon looking for some 18650's cause my mom was in a good mood and offered to buy me 2; so like a good son i said hell yea and off we went...anywho went inside and asked for some high drain imr's in 18650 for subbing and the owner tried to sell me Red E-Fest V1 batts, i said no way jose you gotta be kiddin me, gimmi some VTC5'S or some purp E-Fest 35a....she said i don't carry them and subbing with the Red's was fine......man what a dangerous person i thought,.....makes me wonder how many poor victims have fell for this so far and i sure hope no-body has been hurt.........she looked at me like i was crazy and as i was leaving i noticed someone behind the counter had 2 VTC5's in a charger on the floor...i just smiled to myself and booked out quickly and i will never return to that establishment......went to another and the lady was very knowledgeable on batts but still didn't have what i needed so i wound up w/2 18500 15a purp e-fest...got my 3D atty on my Nemi in short mode and it looks and hits darn good with a 1ohm single coil......just a diddy to tell, nothing else.

......@jandry, don't think the sweetness is all the prob but it sure will contribute to it.

now break out the MVP's and Vape on! :vapor:

Lol I use the red efest v1s to sub.. But don't go beyond .6. Guess I seem foolish, but they don't get hot and they still seem to be holding their charge the same and hold the same charge or so my MM.says... But low subbing yah. Vtcs or purple efests... Id need a new atty.. Get serious heat from the coils at low subbing (on the purples)

i think you're confusing old bdc
with these new small bvc (non nautilus)

i doubt you've had a chance to use this kind yet, they're that new...

:)

The old BDC have the seal on top because they have to make a seal with the chimney. In the Davide you had a small white nylon part that helped with the seal. I don't think that's changed.

As long as I can see in the enlarged view the seal is still there... Good thing they're moving out of dual coils, never worked for me. I hope this fad passes and fast!

I can see a gap between the heads' base and the chimney, seems they could be taken apart.

wandering soul those batteries the 18650 red efest V1-V2 IMR are claimed to be 10 amps max, you are living dangerous my brother and i would highly caution you to not sub at any level with them......

quote from discount Vapor on these batts this one is the high amp V2 it's the new and improved V1

"Warning!
This is a claimed max 10 amp battery, if you are using this in your mods, make sure the ohms of your device does not pull more than 10 amps.
This battery is not safe for subohm vaping"

here is the link if you want to see for yourself

well i went and done it...broke down and bought an Authentic Simple T-Workhorse tonight, sure hope it's all that!
...............good night all..........

I have used the MVP 2 for a day now and I must say I'm impressed. I was worried that the fire button would be placed stupidly but now I see that that is the only logical place to have it. I also like the screen (could never see the Evic one in daylight). I've only managed to get it down to 4.0 after a whole evening of vaping.

I like how the puff counter resets when you turn it on, it is more logical than the cumulating one on the Evic.

The form factor is great, it looks sleek and I can hold it easily. My better half said "Hey, I want one now - I thought it would look stupid". The only thing I don't like is that the tank threading is sticking up instead of being recessed - it would lower the tank a bit. I guess there wasn't room in there to do that.

Mine came with two iClear 16 tanks and I find them pretty useless: The draw is way too tight on them.

Suddenly my old tube mods look old fashioned. :D

Innokin answered about the logo on my MVP:

Thank you for contacting Innokin .

This is Innokin's new logo .

Congrats on the new toy :)

The threading is 'up' so it can have eGo threads for CE/EVOD type tanks...

Well guys, I rolled a 7 wrap (16 guage luer blunt needle) 30 guage 1.6 ohm coil that was spaced out instead of tightly wrapped. Im running pure rayon atm. It has hit strong for an entire tank and for the first time I reloaded the Russian without rewicking/coil-burning.

It also makes a nice "Pop!" every time I start to take a hit, which from what I read means its the best coil in terms of efficacy Ive rolled yet. In vape heaven here folks :vapor:

I was just thinking the trade off of

being a single-coil, but yet all the wrapping, content of the new style,

what they call ceramic wicking...

guess we'll have to wait and see once they start to circulate, then till price drop $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

@jandry, how'd you space your coil? I'm tempted to get some sort of wood screw or something which can help me space the wraps (I'm so used to compressing them - thanks RipTripper!) that I don't think I can space them out evenly (due to some amount of OCD - or should that be CDO?)

I am thinking that the heat distribution would be "smoother" with a spaced coil, and it might be the answer to my dry-hits.

Anxiously waiting on my Nauti's :D :D :D

Very carefully :D I hold a syringe with a 16guage luer needle on it in my left hand, and use my left thumb to hold the wire on the needle. I actually "wrap" 2 extra times just to get the wire away from my thumb (and I unwind these wraps later) so I have space; then, I just eyeball it. I use a lot of pressure and I go over the top with each wind- if I get too close or far its easy to back off half a wind and reapproach. Id take a video but Id need a helping hand which I dont have atm- pictures prolly wouldnt help. My coil looks very similar to Midniteoyl's coil in terms of spacing (maybe a touch less space).

It definitely hits better later on in the tank. It *might* hit better at first as well, but its very close. I had dry hit issues too (if you remember) and it was either changing to a big-hole drip tip (more vacuum in the chimney) or making my coils bigger (switching from 1/16th drillbit to a 16 guage luer blunt tip, which is just a bit bigger) that fixed it. Good luck..
