Ill be interested to hear you compare performance of the Nauti with your kayfun. I hope the latter wins or else Ill have to go buy a Nauti :p

Jandry, I have one kayfun (3.1 ES) that hits like the Nauti.... The $17 sale is still in effect today, and on the business card I received, 5% discount: code SepFive14 :)edit: Rock Bottom Vapes)

So far, the BDC (I'm currently using the 1.6Ω coil) is amazing.....

So I received the iclear 30 tank with my MVP. Really lovin b the mvp. But as we all know the tank sucks.

Currently I am using a kanget evod -1 I think. Works pretty well with the MVP.

The question I have is what is the best match to the MVP.

Also u dislike top coils to the question is what is the best BC match to a Great mod like the MVP

Raslin, I just received my Nautilus today, and I am floored! I'm trying the 1.6Ω BDC coil (I have BVC coils I have as well), and I'm stunned. I put a lesser-favorite juice in, in case I was displeased and then wouldn't worry about wasting anything. This juice now tastes amazing. It's 70p/30v, and I'm blowing clouds like my normal 50/50. Can't wait to get the other one home and load with some home-made stuff!!!!!!!

I'm almost tempted to order a couple more....

If built right the Kayfun has the better taste imo, but you really can't expect any replaceable coil type tank to match a properly built rebuildable so thats no diss by any means. For a replaceable coiled tank the Nautilus is right at the top for sure.

BDC's are very hit and miss , most hate them but rave about the BVC's . The BVC's can last weeks and seem to like a little higher wattage , if you want to try a new flavor put the BVC's in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes , it will rid the old flavor and be good as new.

I am thinking about a 3.1 Kayfun , whats the differences between it and the lite version?

BUCs look good on paper
Lovie has got some good credentials – OC is out sick ?
two big WR’s / RB is a bulldozer / McCown ??
their 4/3 seems strong and DB’s are working it OK
pre season wasn’t so hot, but when are they ?

:)

Let's hope that Lovie can ressurect the nasty ole Tampa 2 defense. We have all the pieces, but it might take a little while to gel. I am a football fanatic, mostly Pro, some college. Sunday's are sacred from now until February ;)

This is my first "Analog free" football season. Gonna have to find my game day vape now :p

Herb, I believe the Lite is merely a slightly smaller tank (experts, chime in please.) I think the Lite is a 4.5 mL tank, and the full-sized is 5.0? Get the airflow - my Lite doesn't have it, and it's somewhat of a tight draw. I'm still fussing with wicking, but the vertical coil I built last weekend doesn't seem to be having any dry-hit problems like my horizontals have. But, I have some sort of monster in my 3.1ES that has a pretty loose draw (I've only played a tiny bit with its airflow setting) and nary a dry-hit on that. I cringe when I have to rewick because I'm scared I'm going to foul it up.

I'm going to try a BVC on the 2nd Nauti when I get home. So far, NOT displeased with the BDC (especially after so many others have commented as such.)

(kayfun, kayfun, kayfun, kayfun.... subliminal message being sent to Herb.... kayfun, kayfun, kayfun.....)

yepper, seems a mystery

"if it's a screen, why does it need the hole in the middle ? "

"and if it’s a cage, why is it not tight fit ?"

- - -

is that 'burn' or is it 'stain' from juice ? ?

they're claiming that is ceramic fiber material (no wick)

:)

Looks burnt in the middle to me. Depends on how high it's been vaped.

Don't. Use it for a month to see if it works for you. I think it's deadline enough for dissapointments.

The extra mod adaptor. Nothing serious, I prefer the lite plus. As for capacity it's nothing. I'm seriously thinking getting myself a mini, for the ego batts. Paired with the CLK! it'll be a monster!!!

Yeah, 101 is my go to for everything MVP related , when they had it at my door in two days from California i was sold.

I already have the lite version and i use it a lot , probably recoiled and rewicked over a hundred times already lol. Rewicking is absolute cake to do , as long as you don't really jam the wick into the coil super tight it's simple to get out .

Sometimes you have to stabilize the coil with your thumbs fingernail to prevent movement when pulling out the old wick but thats it . Dry burn and rewick and your good.

I won't buy any Kayfun without adjustable airflow and a countersunk o ring equipped fill screw.

I just see a lot of replacement parts being offered for the 3.1 and not so much for the lite plus version , i have a huge tank on my lite version , it didn't come with it though.

Wow, thats it .

Thanks, i have avoided the mini , for what most are asking for it and it's tiny build deck i would rather go with a standard size.

I have the 1.8 ohm BVC loaded in the 2nd Nauti. It's pretty fine too. Heck, I am thinking about getting a couple more (just to have the extras) At $17 each (and they're authentic) I don't think it's a bad deal.

Re: the kayfun mini - have 2 of them. Love them on my VV3s/Spinner 1300s. They're a great size for that (unless you have all three sections deployed, then it's a freaking antenna!) Have one of the mini's setup as a "dripper" Works pretty well for testing juices, but I'm not real enamored with refilling more often. Like my tanks - no muss, no fuss.

Nope, not gonna do it. Susaz, I'll hold tight, based on your opinions. Besides, if they've had them on sale once, they'll likely have them on sale again.... Don't need to spend the money right now :)

Herb, I got my KF minis from slowtech for about $15 each. I know a lot of folks have mixed opinions of the clones from FT, but the four that I got have all been fine. No trouble with threads, as some have commented previously. For just trying them out, not displeased with that expenditure.

The deck is pretty small on the mini's, and I sometimes struggle with seeing. I need to rig up some kind of base to hold them while I build - not having four hands is my main problem.

Enough of my ramblings this evening....

Oh no! Just went back to Rock Bottom Vapes (thought the $17 deal still good on the full-sized) and now the full-sized are $21.95, but the mini's are $19.95 (include 2 BVC coils). Still have 5% coupon, though.....

Decisions, decisions.....
