Hmmm. maybe for the same reason that one of the vendors on ebay my hubby likes to order used cisco equipment/accessories from always includes a pack of skittles. Hubby doesn't like skittles, but I love them! Works for me.
Back in 2010 somebody that we ordered from always put a couple of hard candies in the package. When I was in auto parts we would some times get them. Best one was the plain popcorn used for packing. Doggies loved it. Every time we get a small flat rate box, the dogs go nuts thinking there will be popcorn in it.
I placed an order with clonecores too. 60 piece evod/kanger rebuild kit, haven't rcvd yet. I thanked the guy for his prices and he was very nice. Hope you don't have a 50% fail. Oh, and I ordered some replacement coils from him too
Thank God i went with the full size , can go multiple days without refilling.
Thanks for the honest and excellent review Paul , taste is the #1 thing for me , don't care nearly as much about vapor production. I have tried cloned I30 head's and even though it wasn't from Innokin they still had all the wicks and looked like it , they also had excellent taste which surprised me .
I was very skeptical about Clonecores version and that it did not have nearly as many wicks , i just don't see how they could match in the the flavor department if they lack that wick amount , imo that's the biggest reason why the I30 is so good for flavor .
It's very unfortunate about getting a bad head , if you can limit those maybe they will come around.
Really appreciate your expert opinion though as i know you have tons of experience with that model . I thought i might get a "things are great and easily match the I30 for flavor " type of response and then i buy and find out they are substandard so thanks for being real.
Alright question , do people prefer the standard Evod over the MT3 or are they both similar ?
The MT3 has an airier draw I have found. To really use it, I went with 3rd party dual coils. Works great then

Interesting thing for me with a new i30 coil change. Time for a new one so tore it down, installed a new one, filled 'er up... nuthin. Puffin' til my eyeballs bled. Scratching head. Like NO draw. Took the top off, took a close look. Zeroed in on the top silicon cap and with these old eyes seemed to see a "nipple" on the top. Even closer look... it was sealed! I guess the factory threw out one before it was done. A pair of nailclips, snip the top, re-assembled... nirvana once more!

Dual coil huh , yeah i usually stick to singles but maybe i will try 3rd party ones. What about the MT3s , how does it differ from the MT3 ? On another note , i usually drill out the bases on these types to 1/16 .
Ha ha , yeah, i hate needing to do that , a hole in the cap would be nice , thats probably an option and you need to pay more lol.

the without "S" is extinct

the MT3 was like the big-deal first bcc clearomizer
Kanger made – the base AND coil were as one (integrated)
later came the “S” // MT3S & T3S with the “separable” coil
somewhere along there also came the EVOD and mini T3S
and as they say: “the rest is history”
MT3 are closeouts (what they had left in stock)
the EVODs are just on a sale
IMO MT3S and T3S // EVOD and mini T3S
all four the same design just 3.0ml vs 1.5ml

More on the clone cores
Gave up for the night on them. Rinsed the coils and allowed to dry overnight. Tried to dry burn the first one. Went to 0.7 then .04 gave up. That's 2 outta 3. Dry burned the third. Assembled, part filled, checked 2.0. Started vaping, dropped to 1.4-1.6. Cools off and back to 2. Put stock, used, dry burned coil in tank 2. Part filled with same liquid. Both on fully charged MVPs at 8 watts. The CC still has the perfume taint and not sure if it has as much of the liquid flavor. It does have a lighter draw. A 5/64 drill fits in the pin hole, not quite in the top hole.
At this point, if you are looking for a replacement for stock coils, pass on this one.
On the other hand, I paid about the same for rebuildable coil parts for kanger heads at LV. If I can recoil and wick these with good results, it might not be a bad deal. The sections are press fit. The bottom thread is the same as a 510 connector so you can use a tank base to hold the lower section while you get it apart.

There is a airflow and flavor difference between the EVOD and T3S/MT3S, with the EVOD having the tighter draw and more flavor outta the box.. Thats where the Dual Coils for the MT3S comes in. Gives it more flavor like the EVOD, but keeps the lighter draw and bigger tank. It IS hit or miss on whether the coils work outta the box, as per my link. It is also an easy fix.

So far, the BDC (I'm currently using the 1.6Ω coil) is amazing.....
I put a BVC in as soon as I got the full size. Never cared for dual coils but I guess I'll have to try the BDCs it came with. Watched Rip's rebuild video of the BVC. At the end he said it gurgled (over wicking/flooding?) and had a tight draw
. I pulled one apart after the draw got too tight for me. The long strip of wick is held in place around the inside of the barrel by metals ears that look like they're slotted for a horizontal coil. I washed half the inside wick under running water. The muck seemed to come off pretty easy but I doubt you'd be able to use it again. I bought a Nautilus mini and a 1300mah spinner to loan out to prospective converts. Sure wish I'd had a starter rig like that! My nephew wanted the mini bad so he tells me his birthday is coming up. Only later did I learn his birthday was still two months away! Oh well, off to buy another one. Maybe I'll get to use it this time...
@donesmokin, check out evape.us. 5-packs of BVC coils for $9.95. I went with 1.8 ohms, but on the one I've put in so far, I'm cranking the MVP to 11W. I'm getting a tiny bit of gurgling/splatter on my 2nd tankful, but not enough to be displeased. I left the 1.6 BDC in the other Nauti (which is at work right now). I'm liking that, for sure. That MVP is also cranked to about 11W.

@Dinger. Saw the link, thank you. On my second BVC with no gurgling or problems of any kind. That's my biggest complaint about the MVP, even 15 watts would have been great!
