I used to buy a lot from fasttech. Eventually got tired of tracking my orders. Never got burned, but the uncertainty of when my stuff would arrive drove me nuts. You need to be patient and trusting to buy directly from China. I've been using eBay a lot lately. I limit my searches to US sellers.
Ironically enough, one of my fastest eBay vape mail shipments was directly from China for a Vision Spinner 2 and two PTv1s for $19 to my door... Took less than a week...

Just got my MVP 2.0 in the mail and I must say that this thing hits like a CHAMP!

well hello Pikestr28, welcome to the big deal MVP club

yeah-man, the MVP just gets it done

it really is a great device

good luck

:)

Do Not ~ overtighten topper tanks
don’t wait to charge (charge soon & charge often)(no memory)
it’s either Volts OR Watts (never both)
and don’t drop it on your toe…

Thanks pufZeppelin! I was wondering about the readout as well. Only had my MPV 2 for about 3 days...so far, I love it! Perfect little device for me.

hey-Hi there hyck,
nice to have ya aboard
smart move getting ye `ole MVP box

I think it is because of the translation of Chinese
and then the readout limits...

don’t forget:
•Do Not ~ overtighten topper tanks
•it’s either Volts OR Watts (never both)
•don’t wait to charge (charge soon & charge often)(no memory)

- - -

holding both buttons:
-first display is, Coil Ω’s
-second display is, Charge Remaining in internal battery
- - -
single button operation:
>push and hold (top button) "P" for watts control
>push and hold (bottom button) "U" for volts control
-the first display will always be Puff Counter (0-999)
(which actually just counts how many times you push your Fire button)
-second number displayed is the adjustable setting (v or w)
-- 3 clks off / 3 clks on (puff counter resets to "0" each time)
-- MVP memory maintains until you change it

I love my MVP, but the iClear30 that came with it doesn't hit well anymore. I've been using CE4 Clearomizers instead lately. They're OK, but I'd like to try something different. Preferably something that would hold more liquid. I'm cheap. I like finding a good value. Any suggestions?

Seems I m a bit late to the party, but if you dont use tank cracker juices, I ve been very happy with a gs-h2 @ 1.5ml and a gs-h5 @ 3ml. They use a readily available, cheap single element atty which can also be re coiled should you wish to go down that route

I also use these exclusively, with MVP, Spinner II and Vamo 5.

I recommend the tanks I use all the time because they are pretty inexpensive and work so well. I use them with my MVP and never have any problems like burnt taste, leaking or gurgling. They are the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro tanks. Here is a link:

Ok so hello everyone, quick question.

If i set my Watts does it adjust the volts automatically or do i set both? Only reason i ask is because my Vtube says it automatically adjusts the volts when in watts mode but nowhere does it say that the MVP does this.

Also hard one for people to answer but what kinda sound should this make i use a protank 2, protank 3 and a iclear30, the two protanks make a kinda burning sound abit fizzy maybe, i think this is normal, but the two protanks have an extra few pops and bits to them? seems how ever low i use these they do the same.
I run mine at about 3.5-4V and between 6-8W is this about right if im happy with flavour and vape?
Thanks alot!! :)

Just set one or the other. I set the wattage and it will calculate the voltage.

My PT3 pops as well, no worries.

hello Thevapourtrail, and welcome to the MVP club thread...

believe it is just a given, Ohms Law theory…
rule of thumb: add 2.0 to your OHMs to get your Volts (2.0+1.8Ω=3.8v)
then if you wish, you can convert to Watts to suit your needs/want...

so if you set your Watts it auto adjusts your volts like that
eg: 1.8Ω @ 8.0watts = 3.79v
which ever setting you touch last, is what mode your device outputs
(you set Volts OR Watts; never BOTH)

that snap/pop/crackle is just the heat from the coil wire
overcoming the juice inside, kinda like boiling bubbles rising...
I like when they do that, it seems that’s when they are working good
if you think some make different sounds, do you know each Ω and then
compare Ω to sounds... (a 1.8Ω should 'pop' more than a 2.5Ω)

ever seen one of these ?

They would have some trouble trying to mould that in glass ... probs end up with a pt mini

( it took every ounce of restraint not to make a humourous remark )

Haha! anything else I should get while I have it in my cart? Will the kanger old style coils fit this, do you know?

Forgive me if this has already been brought up - I don't *think* I've seen the question here, but then again I read this forum until my eyes bleed sometimes so I can't fully be sure. Do any of you own another box mod that you think is comparable to the MVP2? I love mine, like we all do, but instead of getting a second one right away, I'm wondering if I should branch out and get her a cousin instead of a twin sister.

Still don't own it, but the eleaf iStick is a sure contender. We'll see... My doubt is with heavier tanks like a KF or a Lemo.
