It would be nice of you to make it Happy New Year for us too, by sharing your recipe :) I have an RY4 that makes me happy too, but still looking !

haha

nothing special, no big deal

it is just a simple caramel base I make @ 20% in 25/75 VG
then supplement it with 8% tobacco

my point was I was doing tobacco first, then adding…
NOW I start with caramel, and flavor with tobacco (reverse of what I was doing)

a true RY4, maybe yes, maybe no (just what I called it)

:)

In other words you need to review electronics theory a bit more in order to comprehend what was just said there!

DETERMINING THE EFFECTIVE OR RMS VOLTAGE OF VARIOUS WAVEFORMS WITHOUT CALCULUS

OR

You can just go with the last two sentences I posted.

The MVP is a steady output voltage for all practical purposes, hence the output is the output.

Summary... when your output voltage is steady, the RMS and MEAN and AVERAGE are identical.

Seriously though... if someone doesn't know the difference, they should learn the difference. Last I knew, calc was a requirement just to graduate high-school... I don't think it's too high of a bar for the common person and certainly not for someone asking questions :)

The last thing I want to see [well, something I don't want to see] is someone trying to apply RMS calculations for single-phase AC sine waves to DC, let alone steady DC.

EDIT: Now I get it... you were joking with that link :)

I found out tonight that the iStick will only go to 17.7w with a 1.7 ohm build in my Kayfun...

that was one of the few ‘hits’ against the iStick
-true 20w only happened at like 1.1Ω to 1.5Ω ??
-it over fires (too hot)
-and the threading quality

I don't have one (yet)

but read many posts making those claims...

yes it runs hot and gives a harsh vape IMO. as i understand its due to the pulse with output. just added mvp 20w to cart LOL

yooperdad, if you like "Trebica" from Halo, i got a spot-on recipe i'll share w/ya!

you'll need a recipe calculator,
25% RY4 double
5%, light color Graham Cracker
4% Aceytal Pyrazine
6% Ethyl Malto

Wow, that is a lot of flavors in there :)

Here's my favorite right now.

RY4 R Puppy Mod
*TFA RY4 Double 6.00%
*FA Vanilla Bourbon 1.00%
*FA Vienna Cream 1.00%
*FA Caramel 1.00%
*TFA Acetyl Pyrazine 5% 0.50%

Trebica is a very unique flavor, it's one of those you either love or hate.

OK, gotcha

think if you had a bottle or two at least, of 24mg you could switch

to vaping that when you reach for an analog kinda cig

keep at it, you sound as tho you're doing good ! :)

I AM doing better than I was. I was smoking 2 packs sometimes 2 1/2 a day. Right now I am at 1/2 pack a day.

as family sits around - shootin the breeze - made me recall this story

I remember cigs sold for .45¢ a pak, a diner had a cig machine right inside the door
didn’t have time to put correct change in machine, so just briskly drop 2 quarters in,
pull a lever, pack would drop, grab-n-run…
when we’d get to our safe place, the questions would fly…
“what kind are they?”, did you get matches?”, “did you get the nickel?”

see, it was a narrow & long diner, the cash register/front counter
was a long way from the front out door,
so IF you had time, based on where the server was,
you could PUSH the button labeled “MATCHES” (a book would drop)
and .45¢ from 2 quarters left a nickel in the change compartment - IF YOU DARE,
you took the time to retrieve the nickel (nickel went a long way back then)
“Hey – you kids can’t……” is about all we would hear
and being a scared little kid, didn’t dare to take time to look at brand labels,
just grab a lever and pull (we always prayed it wasn’t menthol, we all hated menthol)

- - -

also remember hearing of rumors: “if they ever get to a dollar we’ll qwit buying them” we said…

Good story for "just a kid". When I started they were a quarter a pack in machines and regulars had 2 pennies under the cellophane. :)

haha !

I was gonna say that but was only hearsay from me, so I omitted it

.23¢ and two pennies inside for your quarter change...

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, those were the days

can't believe you brought that up

When getting the first one I had to turn it down from 7 to the lowest like 4.7w due to what I thought at first was a need to swap out the coil in the first tank being used. After replacing that coil with another I ended up swapping tanks off despite a new 2ohm coil going in. After later swapping the tanks I found the second iStick didn't run into that problem at all and later both seemed to be running fine at 7w before getting the Nautilus Mini tanks in. What I noticed later was when swapping over to the Voltage mode and the need to turn it down from 4.4v! The Tumblers seem to max at 4.2-4.3v tops.

Now note that on the eGo-V V3s and V4s as well as the VTR, MVP, Vamo V2, V5 8-10w would get warm but yet vape some flavors at the higher watts like the rest would see at 6-7w. I can imagine a pulsed signal for ourput would be the main reason for seeing that come up. You don't get this anywhere that extent with the Mini tanks on however since they were designed to handle higher wattages as well as being a more durable product while the Tumblers offer the flavor and vapor at the lower wattages other tanks don't.

You can still find one or two sites carrying the MVP Shine kit for that price being holiday specials that once sold out won't likely be restocking however since the 20w version is now out as well as the other mini 20w and 30w coming out. I suspect by this time next year the GOD Mod 180 younger brother may be the size of the MVP or even smaller?! The SMY GOD Mod 180w was found for about $75 at one vendor by the same source.

This is the lowest price I have seen on the SMY God180 as of 12/26/2014 and the price wont last long. Using the code sorry5 lowers the price on the SMY God180 Mod to only $75.77. Now I know many are asking what good is the SMY God180 box mod for. Well I can tell you that you want to take a 1.2ohm mod and crank up the watts and you will see plumes of vapor. 180 watts the SMY God180 Mod has doesn't mean you have to run the full watts but it's there when you need it.
Urgent: You must use the code sorry5 to receive the price of $75.77on the SMY God180

SMY God180: 180W Mod For Only $75.77 - Vaping Discounts | Vaping Discounts Note the seller's site is located in China, ChinaBuye to be exact. where you see about $4 knocked off of the $79.76 price.

When I started smoking, I used to buy them from the vending machine in the lobby of the HOSPITAL near my house.

.50¢ when I started and I remember saying the bit about "When they get to a dollar.......". 35 years later, here I am.

cigs were very cheap here when i was a young teenager, i can remember those famous red packs for 27 cents each.......
we used to hang out behind the corner beer depot, you could go inside and get a box of smokes and a 16oz big red in the return bottle with a buck and get change back........it seems everyone still smokes here except me, every-time i go somewhere; cig butts everywhere and smell are the norm it seems......man o man can i smell it now.
