please do tell, which mod and where

Let's say it is very new and fasttech didn't even have any listing for it when ordered. Someone had been asking about it but not seen at a site that listed in US currency! Upon looking around a bit ended up ordering the... LUXYOUN 150W Variable Wattage VW Box Mod - Brown, Wooden + Stainless Steel, 1 x 18650, 7~150W - 3FVape

But that's alright since one of the two spare Atlantis tanks will be going on top of the other 50w mod now on the way as the tracking email notification just came in for the .. https://www.fasttech.com/p/2028700

ECIG V9 50W MOD.jpg

I came close to canceling that one since while I won't be needing the MVP 3.0 since I had already ordered another 30w the Luxyoun 150w was an unknown at the time of the order for the ECig V9 50w. I ended up get the timing right however since both mods saw a 10% discount still available at the times each one was ordered. What a way to start a New Year! :)

All I've known are the VV batteries. I don't know what the difference is between using volts or watts...would someone be willing to explain it to me in a way that even a dummy can understand?

Think of Watts as the "temperature of your coil". Watts is computed using Volts and Ω's (of your topper).

So...if using Volts setting on your battery...when you change to a topper with a different Ω's...you have to change the Volt's setting to get back to the same coil temperature (ie. Watts).

The VW mode is much more "convenient" (and great if you're lazy like me). On the Watts setting on your battery...when you change to a topper with a different Ω's...you just leave it on the same Watts setting and it will automatically figure out the new Volts needed for the new Ω's.

You may have to wait a month to hear about it unless someone else orders one and gets it in sooner?! It takes a single 18650 battery compared to other 100w and above mods that take two or three like the GOD Mod uses three. When looking around and running into the site the price even without the 10% off couldn't be beat especially for something new off the line.

I wasn't even planning to buy any other mods for the time being until finding the bargain on that one since I had just ordered the ECig V9 on the 22nd and then placed the order for Luxyoun on New Year's Day. Considering what those should have been found priced at It was a good time to move on it!

At first glance when someone had posted it in a discussion asking about it I thought it had a plastic casing until going back to read the full description. What caught me offguard was how low the price was since every other 100w or higher mod was priced over $100 to begin with until lately seeing the SMY GOD Mod priced down to $75. Once I had the second look however I thought it would definitely go well with one of the dark wood mod stands here! :D

Meanwhile the daily deals came in for the MVP 20W from Vaping Cheap with price breaks at three different vendors first two proving discount codes there only. The first two are Vapor Beast and Ecig Ave with the third being 101vape in the event the first two sell out. iTaste MVP 20W (20 Watt) $29.95 | Best Vape Deals

Monday will also see another new mod appear namely the Beyang 30w compact mod. beyang 30W Mod - myninjavapor.com

Then there's word on the iStick seeing another 30w version to be followed by a 50w. The 20w MVP however stepped things a bit for the 2.0 style which made it an easy choice to pack away the 2.0. I haven't had a single problem other then the 6-11w limit on the 2.0 as well as the VV V3s where I've had to use the smaller tanks. The 20W on the other hand will run with the Nautilus upto the 20w max while it's generally kept about 10w-15w.

Unfortunately my eleaf istick saw the center post fail yesterday :( Everything else on it works, so im going to try and fix it.

Pulled out the MVP which has been neglected for a month or so and it still had a charge :vapor: Love the build quality and size of the MVP.

I think im going to pick up an MVP 2 20 watt when I get paid. I could get an ipv mini for about the same, but id have to get batteries and a charger; I also dont think I need 30 watts anyways. 20 watts on a 28 gauge coil was perfect for me (on the istick). Getting 20 watts with the MVPs durability seems worth the 50 bucks..

Anyone have experiences with 101vape or worldofvape? I usually order from myvaporstore but theyre out of MVP 20 watt devices (they also cost 12 bucks more). Want to make sure I dont get a knock off. Also, do either of these places fail to tell you when theyre out of stock? I see no mention of whether they are or not...

I have bought many things from 101vape.Great Company!!!!!!

From what I now see on the MVP 3.0, I dont really like it. The integrated USB charging cable would be useless to me, I prefer the fire button where the MVP 2 has it, and unless its super cheap I cant see it competing with all these new cheap mods on the market. It does have a nicer lcd display...

I think ill be happy with my 20 watt MVP. The only point for me going above 20 watts would be to run dual coils or to run a dripper. Im avoiding drippers so I can enjoy clearos/RBAs. Im not sure a dual coil would really do much for vapor production on my Russian 91%; even though the 91% is about the best vapor production you can get short of a dripper, its limited by the air it can flow (as with any clearo). I doubt a dual coil would vape any better than the 28 gauge 11 wrap coil I prefer now. I dont know- I could be wrong about all this...

Anyone know what the MVP 20 watt is capable of pushing 20 watts with? With the eleaf istick you needed to run ~1.5 ohms to get up to 20 watts. If the MVP 20 watt hits 20 watts up to 2.2 ohms (like the MVP 1 does to 11 watts), that would be nice. Even if it doesnt, thats fine with me.

Wow, it actually worked. 30 bucks shipped! I hope this place is legit :p Order placed...

I will keep this in mind- Im always hesitant to go with a new company, but you've been around here awhile and would know. Thanks!

Vapor Beast Rocks many order - always prompt and correct. Well known vendor.

Your going to like the new box! The new 510 connector is a definite improvement. Since you saved so much money on the device, do yourself a favor and order one of these nice rubber skins. They really give a nice tactile feel to the box and makes it feel a lot more secure in the hand.

INNOKIN iTASTE MVP SLEEVES - MADTOWN VAPOR

I got mine for only $27 shipped with a 10% code a few weeks ago at Innokin iTaste MVP 20W - ecig.com now seen there for $36.10 in black and silver.

As for seeing 20w at 2.2ohms you have to calculate the available or maximum current or voltage or end up with a number of possible combination as far as what the voltage and current will turn out to be. With the resistance locked you can end up with 6.63v at 3.02A. Ohm's law | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

I posted earlier that one of the nitpicks I have with my MPV20W is that the bottom plate is slightly off center.

That leaves a "lip" that you can feel with your finger on one side and a overhang on the other side.

I loosened the screws and managed to push the plate to a flush position.

Tightened them back up and its all good now.

a 2.2Ω coil @ 20w = 6.6v / 3.0A
well within the limits of the new MVP 20W, if you so choose :D

you fix’d the slight flaw and now all is good in your world

$32 shipped with code "20watt". They keep going out of stock quick each time they get them back in stock. Ordered mine after the same day shipping cut off time and still received it in 3 days, and I'm pretty much on the opposite side of the country lol. Checked serial number on Innokin's website, it's authentic :)
