Here the MVP20W is obviously pasted in for some reason.

I guess so.
But pretty much the thing I look at first these days when checking out mods is width.
If it is close to my MVP20W then I'm interested.
For my hand anyway.
One of the reasons why I'm interested in the new Vaporshark DNA40 (Not rDNA):
2.94 x 1.50 x 0.88 Inches
MVP20W:
4.21 x 1.61 x 0.86 Inches
Eric
Edit:
Actually the MVP20W is more like 3 3/4" high.
All mm:
MVP20W: 22 X 41 X 107
50W-iStick: 23 X 45 X 83
MVP3: 23 X 46 X 102
Smok XPro M80 Plus: 22 X 55 X 85

3.75 ". My bad.

so I just heard on the news...
the dock-workers strike off US west coast
which has held 100's of ships at idle for weeks
has been resolved...
now cargos from ASIA may be delivered
yea-baby, lots of ecig products hitting shelves

It starts talking to dead relatives.
Seriously I have 3, 2 are over a year old and the only thing that has happened is the amount of puffs before charging has gotten lower. Whether that will be a slow progression or fall off the cliff, I don't know.
Buy another device and keep the MVP for a backup if you think it is going.

Supposedly there are twin batteries of some sort. It baffles me why any of these internal mod batteries last so long compared to the round form factor. My MVPs last nearly two days at approximately 2200mah. A round 18650 2500mah battery lasts a day. Not sure what gives.

It's pretty simple... 'Battery A' != 'Battery B'. Batteries are designed and manufactured to have different properties. If everything else is the same (exact use case, ambient temp, etc), then the two batteries have wildly different discharge characteristics. Pretending that each 'day' you listed is equal... I would have to guess that your 18650 is junk. now... if you aren't putting the same battery into the same mod with the same atty and using it exactly the same... I could understand there being differences, but I figure your stated comparison was fair by design. There is always the chance that the mod used to test the 'round' battery just isn't anywhere nearly as efficient as the MVP at voltage conversion or has a (much) higher voltage input min.
I just finished checking the output of some batteries... and the first charge/discharge cycle yielded 2511, 2486, 2485 & 2435mA from brand new '2500mAh' 18650 batteries... which is GREAT since I only discharged them to 3V (versus the 2.5V the 2500mAh rating is based on) and they are brand new (which means it will take a few charge/discharge cycles to get best results).
Were you using the same atty/coil both times?
What mod were you using the 'round' battery in?
What model is the 'round' battery?
What output wattage(or voltage) were you using with what coil resistance?
Your post may have provided me with the inspiration to desolder the battery from a brand new MVP20W so I can put it on the same battery tester to see the results![]()
I wonder if my MVP could charge IT!!!the Tesla S model sedan (electric car) has 7,100 18650 Li-Ion batteries in it
The battery is guaranteed for eight years or 125,000 mi
after 8 years, battery replacement costs :
$10,000 for the 60 kWh battery,
$12,000 for the 85 kWh battery
{VaporShark will replace the single 18650 for $25}
two years ago I didnt know what an 18650 was
two battery pak models (230 miles / 362hp) & (320 miles / 416hp)
battery swapping can be done @ $60-$80 a shot (appx price tank of fuel)
takes about 90 seconds to swap...
price for the 5 seat (+ 2 rear facing jump seats) range: $70k to $105k
wonder if it has a plug-in for my MVP ?
