  • The battery is in the red bag,
  • power then goes in to the small black box (controler) on the seat stay
  • then back up and back down the down stay
  • and through a hollow axle in to the rear hub motor
.

In my state, E-bikes are a grey area and I built my bike to look as much like a bike as possible
so I don't have to have lights and wear a motorcycle helmet and other restrictions.

While vaping my MVP :D

OK, it was the “rear hub motor” that threw me (I’m not familiar)
was thinking of a tire friction device...

I get it with the grey area state-thing !

No free shipping unless you order more. Both pages say:isticks do not qualify for free priority upgrade, unless order is over $70.

Well...the FREE shipping (without the priority upgrade) only took 3 days (to Pennsylvania).

it’s like a power outage in here, or maybe everyone is snowed in
very little traffic in the past 30 hrs…
guess all is well with everyones vaping tools

(Trying to be gentle here...because everyone in this thread is so nice [and because herb may yell at me again])

but...

the "Eleaf Istick" thread grows 10-15 pages/day and the "Eleaf IStick 50W coming Jan 25th" thread grows at 5-10 pages/day...

Wonder if it may be the result of:

MVP3: 0.4-2.5Ω, 6-30Watts, 3800mAh, $60

50Watt-iStick: 0.2-5Ω, 5-50Watts, 4400mAh, $40

They neglect to mention that that range doesn't include the heat or AC operating, and that it's in flat land, not hills or mountains.

They don't mention where those battery swap stations are (and where they are not), or how long it takes to recharge from standard power (instead of the special charging stations).

If you want to take a 4-500 mile trip in most of the US you'll have to stop several times for many hours each.

Meanwhile I can but a gasoline car that will go 300+ miles on a tank of gas that I can refill in 5 minutes nation wide, and can have that for $15-20K. The $50-85k I don't spend on the car will buy a lot of gas, insurance and maintenance.

They have been trying to make a viable electric car for over 100 years. Batteries just ain't going to do it with current technology.

Never mind the industrial pollution building the batteries (far worse than 20 years of driving a gasoline powered car), or the coal fired power plants used to recharge them or then environmental impact to dispose of the batteries at the end of their life.

Hydrogen fuel cells might be viable in a few years. Series diesel/electric is viable now (like locomotives) but no one is pursuing it as it doesn't hit the buzz of the day. Personally I favor a series diesel or gasoline/electric with the engine turned for optimum efficiency (ie single RPM as it's the wide RPM range that hurts most engine efficiency) charging a secondary storage battery (good for 25-50 miles) to keep the engine at peak performance and to supply extra power on demand.
I think you need to do a little more research on these things...
Whilst vaping my MVP I'm wondering what exactly you took objection to?

I personally could care less how many pages another page grows per day lol... I know what to expect here in this group. I enjoy these folks,,, I see your very active in the Istick thread and good for you. I own a mini, a 20W and a 50W Istick but when I'm on this thread I try and talk Innokin... Just stayin on topic. Oh and I never go into one thread and bad talk another one. But that's just me

Ah, but where's the fun if you don't talk about the competition? :)

I believe it is due to the MVP being the big-dog and the old-dog in the vaping world…
MVP has been out A LONG TIME (in vaping history)
it has been hashed about to the um-teenth level and the
newest, MVP 3.0 is no different…

it does have some different features, but it is the same design factor as always
and it is a brute of a dude…
I believe it is TOP OF THE LINE and I say that UNTIL another
device has the longevity, sales, and following nearing what Innokin has
accomplished with the MVP…

SURE, there are others stepping up to the plate and seem capable
of being great devices : eg.
'i30w- ½ the price; small 2200mah
'prothingy 3- has no where near the feature set; cost is astronomical
'i50w– price is right; lrg 4400mah; 50w/.2Ω; size...

I myself picked the MVP – guess it was a love-at-first-site deal
when I first layed eyes on it, I went, ooo & ahhh
who knew it would turn out so popular over 1½ yrs ago
now, I admit I get that feeling with the i50w – it’s me, I like it
but enuff to move from my sure thing Innokin MVP ???
- - -
looking at it from beginners, /or peeps $$ challenged, /or just cheapo's !
a set output ego with a CE5 ($25) a VV ego w/protank II mini ($45)
a 30W/2200mah ($32) and a $30 topper tank and a LOT of publicity

it is simply the flavor of the month and with corrections from Eleaf it
is turning into a viable & feasible happy user product…
as much as I admire Innokin, they made two serious marketing blunders, IMO
missed the mark with the very nice SVD 2.0
and now doing the same with the MVP 3.0
if they want their product in every household -
when will these manufacturers realize PRICE , is what sells...
Innokin has lost a LARGE AMOUNT of the market share due to that fact - IMO

I feel this thread is MVP driven

but the beauty is to talk, chat, compare ALL devices

believe the common ground is we all like MVP's
and compare it and other devices to our experiences

life as it comes at us while using the MVP, vaping in general

and most other things sprinkled in here and there also keeps it fresh - IMO

but the bottom line is we rock MVP's

:headbang:

Well Dave...I did post the link when I ran across the deal for the iTaste VV4 Express Kit for $31.99...in the IStick thread.

Will that get me any "points"?

Been vaping for about a month now, using a MPV 2.0 with a Nautilus for the past two weeks, after upgrading from an eGo.

I've got the basics of using it pretty much okay but (sorry for being lazy), does anyone have a definitive list of tips and tricks regarding it?
I don't want to go through 430 pages (and that's excluding the previous thread...omg )

congrats on getting a magic box :toast:

and for the record

either Volts OR Watts (never both)
be careful not to overtighten toppers
don’t wait to charge (charge soon & charge often)
and don’t drop it on your toe

- - -

on the MVP,
--
-holding both buttons:
-first display is, Coil Ω
-second display is, Charge Remaining in internal battery
- - -
>push and hold (top button) "P" for watts control
>push and hold (bottom button) "U" for volts control
-the first display will always be Puff Counter (0-999)
(which actually just counts how many times you push your Fire button)
-second number displayed is adjustable setting (v or w)
-- it is EITHER volts OR watts, never both
-- 3 clks off / 3 clks on (puff counter resets to "0" each time)
-- MVP memory maintains until you change it

:)

Found one of puf's wise posts...
