All right, I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the MVP 3. What I'd like to know is, what's the best price y'all have seen for one, and on which site did you see it? The istick 50 watt is very tempting, but if I could get an MVP 3 for a fair price (I know, it won't be as cheap as the istick), I'm thinking that I could wait on the istick. Thanks in advance, vape on!

so our vaping buddy, all around good guy PBusardo has put the
iStick 50W thru the “TEST” ; he seemed pleased with it;
the numbers looked good ! and he gave it a strong ‘thumbs-up’...

Been vaping for about a month now, using a MPV 2.0 with a Nautilus for the past two weeks, after upgrading from an eGo.

I've got the basics of using it pretty much okay but (sorry for being lazy), does anyone have a definitive list of tips and tricks regarding it?
I don't want to go through 430 pages (and that's excluding the previous thread...omg )

hey Smucky, welcome to club MVP
I see our group is taking care of you (clnire :) )

I’d suggest to only use watts, for now…
with 1.6Ω Nautilus, 8W is pretty safe to start and is kinda auto adjust…
start low, and work your way UP till YOU like the vape
if you think you taste burnt, go back down
remember it doesn’t happen INSTANTLY
vape along awhile at any given setting, see how YOU like it

after just using it, it will come as second nature then you can mess around
with it to your liking...

always ask, we love to help…

:D

Do you use BDC or BVC coils?

At around 8W the BDC 1.6ohm coils do not last me more than 3-4 days.

Full size Nautilus on a MVP20W, 100%VG unflavored 24mg Nic.

Vape is great tho.

I just ordered some 1.6ohm BVC coils and hope they will last longer.

In comparison the dual coils on my Iclear 30B's and my Gladius usually go for a week or so. (1.5ohm, 6.5-8W)

is there issues ordering 'across' the US border ?

maybe ordering from non US vendors might help you ?

I just don't know laws up there I guess... ?

haha, other than FT, guess I don't even know other non N American vendors

used to be an option when canadian dollar was at par, or close to it, to the u.s. currency.
but since everything is based on u.s. prices, even fasttech, the conversion rate takes away the savings

I saw the review and I have the device. Everything he stated was pretty much dead on. Interestingly though, I've never seen him "Torture test" a device before? The IStick 50 held up though.

great thought

mini comes stock with BVC
but OP said Nautilus so it COULD be BDC

BVC is far more productive than BDC

Finally a side by side pic. Just as the measurements of each device say, the iStick 50W is just shorter and rounded on the sides.

Anyway, I finally got the drip tip I ordered from FT. Looking pretty slick on my setup, the black theme is working for me ;)

That topper would look frikin' awesome on the Itaste 134 with it's Gatling gun look!

haha, you’re right...

so it claims (3)-1.5ml tank sections, totaling 4.5ml
reviews I’ve watched show 1.8Ω BDC coils
22mm Φ and plenty TALLER than a Kayfun...

so makes me wonder,
could you take it a step farther and have :
•1.5Ω RY4
•2.0Ω strawberry
•.5Ω vanilla custard
all on top of your MVP 30
just ‘dial-up’ a vape mode attitude

VaporShark dimensions are in inches, Not mm.

I finally figured out what vendor I ordered my second MVP2 from. Unfortunately for me, they only have a 30 day warranty. That's just the way my luck runs. Stupid thing just started blinking red on me the other night for no reason at all, and I had just started to use it from charging it a day earlier. I had even turned it off hoping to preserve something from it.

So I promptly put it back on charge again. I even talked to it. I told it, "Go on, beast, blow up. See if I care. I'll be right here to put the fire out you little devil". I'm doing an ad lib here because my actual language was quite a bit more colorful.

It charged up shortly without problem, and so I told myself, "Self, vape on this thing right now until it croaks. Oddly enough, it lasted on me for a little over 24 hours. I just put it on charge again when it hit yellow. So, we shall see. Since I doubt if the vendor will do anything for me, I'll vape the little darling until it just can't go anymore.

It would appear that I got the MVP 20 watt just in time. That thing chugs like a champ. My first MVP2 is moving along just great. Go figure.
