just my quick opinion, and forgive me if I am repeating previous points, I kinda skimmed the thread, but this is scary because it is an obvious smear campaign that (those of you in california might know) is a lot like the Prop 8 ordeal. They ran ads and articles stating false information ( the churches will be persecuted, they will teach children in grade school about gay marriage, etc) non of which is remotely true, and the few truths they did state were GROSSLY exaggerated. This is what I see in this case, if you google E cig, you get a bunch of articles like " e-cigs... Harmless?" and it seems the weak findings of the FDAs tests are being grossly distorted and exaggerated. Well needless to say, the smear campaign worked, and Prop 8 passed. I think we need to get to these media outlets voice our out rage. Is it not obvious that this is a fully bias, one sided slam on this budding industry?
Ok, second point. I think you guys are right. As a guy who works in the
tobacco industry, I visit smoke shops all the time, and I know there is sometimes a need for clever wording in certain situations. Like the sign in front of the bongs reading, "for
tobacco use only", or labeling the .... pipes "incense burners". Fact is vaporizers are very much legal in this country, and the E-cigs, might do themselves a favor, and relabel them, Personal vaporizer, or something. Uncle Sam cant do anything about it. As far as the
juice goes, well, we shall see on that one. no doubt they will want to tax it, but I for paying a tax, if it can legitimize and clean up the industry a bit. Lets face it, when you buy liquid, you cant be too sure it was made properly, or what the ingedients are, or any of that. that is my 2,000 cents... haha
