But what we can do is see where we fall on the bell curve. I think people feel if they lower their nicotine they are in turn vaping healthier. I say if their nicotine is so low they can vape 20 mls a day, they are running a higher risk of some unforeseen issue with flavoring. Basically, too much of a good thing?
You are correctly evaluating the risks. The risk of nicotine is probably as near zero as you can get. The risk of flavoring is "unknown", although there is no evidence whatsoever, after over 6 years of use, that flavorings have actually hurt anyone either. Still a less well understood risk.

3 ml at 6mg/ml = 18 (I keep a slightly higher nic around so if I'm temped for a smoke I hit that a few times)
15 ml at 3 mg/ml = 45 (This is an average some days higher..some lower)
For a grand total of 63

Also figure that I leak, drop or otherwise variously loose 2ml a day at 3mg/ml so I have a lost potential Nicotine Factor of 6:)

then you'll probably just vape more..
When I started, I was using 36mg/ml. That was for about a week, then for quite a few months I vaped comfortably with 21mg. Just a few months ago, I moved my nic level up to 24, and I find that I vape less. I only like two or three different flavors, and when they state "start at 1%", I almost always start with .5%, and usually decrease from that.. I am worried not about anything in my "1/2 DIY" juice. Caffeine and nicotine are two drugs I have no desire to stop using, the amount of flavoring that I use make me wonder "Why be concerned?" and PG & VG is PG & VG..

I think this fact is overlooked by everyone; having been brainwashed by the puritans, we automatically figure if something is enjoyable, well it just MUST be evil, sinful, dangerous, or SOMETHING BAaaAAaaaAAD. But the fact that no "new research on flavors!" has come forward is very telling.

So far, the worst thing that the ANTZ can find to say about the flavors we use is that they're 'appealing to children' -- which means we MUST get all that flavored booze off the market; adults can just enjoy the flavor of grain alcohol STRAIGHT. No beer flavor, no wine flavor, and god forbid any vodka flavors.

    Idiots.
